Article: Two Girls From Brooklyn Become Video Game Moguls In Nickelodeon’s New Series “Game Shakers” Premiering September 12th!

School is now back in session, so what better way to relax after a full day back at school and after doing homework than by watching one remarkable and sensationalall new, Nickelodeon TV show?! On September 12th, get ready to get your game on as your new favorite TV show is coming to the small screens on Nickelodeon… presenting you, “Game Shakers”. When two girls’ school project leads them to actually creating one of the biggest mobile games of the year, they don’t realize that they accidentally illegally used a song from rapper Double G causing them to join forces with Double G and his son, Triple G to make a video gaming, mastermind team! “Game Shakers” is set to premiere on Nickelodeon on September 12th at 8:30 PM ET / PT and will be marking the return of Nickelodeon veterans, the stupendous Kel Mitchell and Benjamin “Lil P-Nut” Flores Jr.

The highly-anticipated, Nickelodeon series stars Madisyn Shipman as “Kenzie”, Cree Cicchino as “Babe”, Kel Mitchell as rap star “Double G”, Benjamin “Lil P-Nut” Flores Jr. as “Triple G”, and Thomas Kuc as Hudson. According to the press release, “After an app they create for their school science project unexpectedly turns into the biggest mobile game of the year, Babe and Kenzie use their profits to start Game Shakers, a super-cool gaming company based in Brooklyn, N.Y.  Not realizing they illegally sampled a song in their game from superstar rapper Double G, the girls decide to make him their business partner along with his son Triple G as a game consultant. Together, Babe, Kenzie, their schoolmate Hudson, Triple G and Double G work to make Game Shakers a huge success in the gaming world.”

Not only does Nickelodeon create masterpieces of shows that is brought out to its viewers, but Nickelodeon also manages to engage fans in a way like no other! Nickelodeon is giving “Game Shakers” viewers the opportunity to immerse into the world of “Game Shakers” and YOU, yes, YOU can play some of the actual games created and featured in the show! The games created by Babe and Kenzie in the show will be available for fans to actually play on Nick.com and the Nick App. The first game that will be released is called Sky Whale, which will also premiere in the first episode. “The Sky Whale game challenges players to bounce through the sky and to keep a narwhal up in the air, using clouds and crazy objects to go higher and farther, even into outer space or on an underwater adventure” (source: press release) and will be available in the Google, Amazon and App stores in September.

The press release also stated, “Game Shakers’ premiere episode features cameo appearances from YouTube’s pop culture comedians and gaming entertainers including GloZell, Lasercorn and ProJared. The debut episode will simulcast across Nickelodeon, TeenNick and Nicktoons, and will be available at the same time on Nick.com and on the Nick app.  Following its linear debut, the premiere episode will be available for free on iTunes for one week.”
