Destination: makeup heaven, route: Beautycon LA! The trending topic on every social media platform you could think of was the one and only, renowned event, Beautycon LA, which took place yesterday, July 9, 2016 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. Beautycon LA was basically every makeup lovers’ dream come true. With various booths lined up with some of our favorite brands bringing out their new products, to fabulous panels and tons of wonderful opportunities to get up close and personal with your favorite celebrities, beauty gurus, and influencers, Beautycon LA was one of the most outstanding and sensational events ever!
As soon as you arrived at the venue, thousands of excited Beautycon attendees were lined up to have the time of their lives at the event. This year’s Beautycon LA was bigger and better than ever, and what better way to have kicked off this incredible makeup celebration than at an even larger location! A bigger location means a lot more space for all of your favorite brands to have their booths at the event. Brands including NYX Cosmetics, Wildflower cases, Garnier, QVC, Maybelline, Pop Beauty, Pixi, Gardein, Splat, Nike, and more were there to bring extra fun to the event. Radio Disney was also at Beautycon LA.
AwesomenessTV also had a lot of awesome activities for Beautycon attendees to take part in. Attendees were able to audition for AwesomenessTV and even join the AwesomenessTV squad and get some excellent swag to walk away with. Everyone also enjoyed signing the famous AwesomenessTV chalk board during Beautycon LA.
In addition to all of the makeup magnificence that was at the event, another thing that makes every Beautycon oh, so special is all of the amazing special guests that attend the event. In attendance at this year’s Beautycon LA included Tyra Banks (we were ace-ing our smize before Beautycon LA took place!), Ashley Tisdale, Kelly Rowland, Christina Milian, Kandee Johnson, Asia Monet Ray, the Merrell Twins, Jillian Rose Reed, Mia Stammer, Alisha Marie, Kelli Berglund, Sixx Orange, Chloe Lukasiak, Dorothy Wang, Lele Pons, Madisyn Shipman, Karrueche Tran, Sierra Furtado, Jillian Rose Reed, Courtney Love, and many, many more.
Many celebrities, beauty gurus and influencers had a great time participating in the Beautycon LA panels including “How To Be A Bad Bae,” “The Changing Face of Beauty,” and more. Singing sensations Jack and Jack got everyone dancing and singing along to their extraordinary Beautycon LA performance. Other celebrities and influencers had a great time during several meet-and-greet opportunities with their fans.
As you can see, in just one day, Beautycon LA had an immeasurable amount of exciting things happen. Beautycon LA and all Beautycon events bring an overwhelming amount of happiness to all attendees and continues to be such a remarkable, surreal and unforgettable event for everyone to go to. Whether you’re the ultimate makeup queen or wanting to learn more about the makeup world, whether you are going to meet some of your favorite celebrities or to buy the latest makeup products – Beautycon is an event that is perfect for everyone to go to. Beautycon brings together people who share the same love for beauty, fashion and makeup and is a terrific, safe environment for everyone to join together and celebrate what they love most!
