Mind-blowing, intriguing, captivating, and action-packed – those are just some of the many words to describe the masterpiece of a movie titled, “Come and Find Me.” Life seemed close to perfect for David, played by the consummate and immensely talented actor, Aaron Paul (also known for his work in many other extraordinary projects such as the highly-acclaimed, award-winning show, “Breaking Bad”). He was in love with his beautiful girlfriend, played by the spectacular and profound actress, Annabelle Wallis, and nothing could quite get better than being in love… right? It isn’t until one day David wakes up without his girlfriend Claire next to him and he finds out that she is missing.
Days go by and a little more than a year passes and David has no track of his beloved girlfriend. He is left wondering where she could be, what had gone wrong, and he takes it upon himself to put together all the pieces in this mind-boggling puzzle. However, David realizes that Claire isn’t exactly who he thought she was, which leads him to a host of unexpected predicaments.
Needless to say, “Come and Find Me” is one of the most fascinating films you could ever possibly watch. The storyline grasps viewers’ attention so much that it will constantly make you want to know what is yet to come. With the help of the brilliant and incomparable talents of the actors and actresses in the movie and the awe-inspiring and sensational job of writer / director Zack Whedon, the movie will have you at the edge of your seat the entire time. It’s intense. It’s powerful. It has the perfect blend of action, drama, and throughout it all, the bottom line is that love will always, always prevail.
Aaron Paul has yet again left everyone mesmerized with his breathtaking performance in this film. He has managed to make viewers feel the pain he felt as his character, as someone who is longing for closure with someone he misses dearly. With any project he works on, the down-to-earth, genuine, and stupendous Aaron Paul always brings justice to each character and he makes each project an unforgettable one. Annabelle Wallis did such a magnificent job taking on the role of such a mysterious character. It’s a challenge to portray a role of someone who leaves viewers with a lot of questions – what is she really in for? Who is she really? Why is she not who she seemed to be? Yet for Annabelle Wallis, she took on the role so effortlessly and left us completely in awe with her excellence.
“Come and Find Me” is Zack Whedon’s first feature film he has worked on amongst many other projects. It certainly doesn’t seem like this is his first feature film as the creation of this movie is so amazing, so ravishing that Zack Whedon has certainly proved himself as a great genius.
I, Alexisjoyvipaccess had a wonderful time attending the special screening of “Come and Find Me” yesterday, November 3, 2016 at the Pacific Theatre at The Grove in Los Angeles, California. After watching the film, I was speechless with how exceptional it is. If thriller movies are your thing, you should definitely go see it in theaters ASAP, and if you’re into different genres of movies, “Come and Find Me” will make you a thriller fan in no time.
