When he meets his friend’s sister, who he finds himself enamored by, he decides to take the situation into his own hands and lie about his life. Things don’t go as planned when Gilby finds himself tangled in his web of lies and the hardship of now having to tell the truth.

Starring in the excellent movie is the brilliant Gemma Forbes. The wonderful Gemma Forbes has truly established herself as one marvelous and gifted actress. She once again left everyone in awe with her impeccable acting skills in The Truth About Lies. She always impresses everyone with how much of a stellar actress she is in any and every project that she works on. We’ve also seen the incredible Gemma Forbes in projects including the hit movie, Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life, the movie, Allure and many others. Gemma Forbes is absolutely stunning, both inside and out, and she truly stands out as one exceptional actress in the entertainment industry.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: You’re a brilliant actress. What inspired you to focus your life around acting?

Gemma Forbes: Oh goodness, that’s very flattering. I was always interested in acting, but the inspiration to make it my main focus was when I came to New York for an acting workshop. When I came back to Scotland (which is where I’m originally from) I decided to give it a real go. Funnily enough, I ended up back in NY, which is where I’m based now.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: Your film, The Truth About Lies just recently had its Los Angeles premiere and released on October 27th. Can you tell us a little bit more about your character in the movie?

Gemma Forbes: Yes. I play Ann. She is sweet and innocent but can come of a little pretentious. She was a lot of fun to play because together her and her boyfriend, Andy, played by Adam David Thompson, are blissfully unaware of how annoying and patronizing they are.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: What was the atmosphere like working on set of The Truth About Lies?

Gemma Forbes: It really was a lot of fun, a lot of laughter! Phil Allocco, our director, really set a great vibe, and I think that makes such a difference in getting the best performances from the actors, especially since there was some improv throughout the film.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: You also worked on the amazing film, Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life. What was that experience like for you?

Gemma Forbes: I played a waitress in a scene with Rob Riggle, his character is hitting on me in the most unsubtle way possible while taking his girlfriend’s kids out to lunch at Dave & Busters. He was so funny, it was a challenge to keep a straight face. My character also becomes an animated cartoon, so that was totally new for me and fun to see.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: What would be your dream role to portray?

Gemma Forbes: She-Ra. She has awesome powers and rides around on a unicorn, what more could I ask for?!

Alexisjoyvipaccess: If you could work alongside any other actor / actress in a future project, who would you like it to be?

Gemma Forbes: Glen Close

Alexisjoyvipaccess: What are some other upcoming projects that you are working on that fans can stay tuned for?

Gemma Forbes: I have a few things coming out in 2018, unfortunately nothing I can talk about just yet.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: Lastly, if you could bring out one message to all of your fans, what message would that be?

Gemma Forbes: Follow your heart!
