Netflix is at it again with another spectacular and masterpiece of a film that encourages viewers to love the skin you’re in and embrace what makes you different. The entertainment streaming service announced the full cast of its much-anticipated, new film titled, Tall Girl and the sensational, leading lady of the movie was revealed to be actress, model and dancer Ava Michelle. Ava Michelle exhibits such grace and elegance with anything and everything that she does and we greatly look forward to seeing her in her feature film debut. Ava Michelle will take on the role of Jodi in the movie.
Tall Girl has an all-star, highly-acclaimed cast including Netflix’s American Vandal star Griffin Gluck, who will star as Jack Dunkleman, Jodi’s best-friend. Actor, musician and model Luke Eisner will portray the role of Stig – a tall, Swedish foreign exchange student that Jodi finds herself smitten over. Tall Girl will also be Eisner’s feature film debut.
The marvelous film will also star fan-favorite actors and actresses including Sabrina Carpenter, Paris Berelc, Steve Zahn, Angela Kinsey, Anjelika Washington, Clara Wilsey and Rico Paris.

Tall Girl will be directed by Nzingha Stewart and production on the film has already begun in New Orleans. Stewart shared her excitement about the story of Tall Girl being brought to life with Netflix fans. Stewart said, “It was essential for us to find an actor to portray our lead who can speak to the challenges and lessons that Jodi experiences from a very personal place of authenticity. Ava’s ability to beautifully and uniquely showcase those attributes stood out to us in a way that we believe audiences will connect with. This movie will definitely be a massive hit amongst all fans. It has an exceptional, star-studded cast, a wonderful storyline that motivates viewers and young girls especially to have confidence and self-love and it’s filled with a whole lot of fun, romance and the ups and downs of high-school.
