Article: Take A Look At The Nominees For The Inaugural Critics’ Choice Real TV Awards!

What do shows like Shark Tank, Epix’s PUNKQueer Eye and RuPaul’s Drag Race all have in common? Not only are they terrific, fan-favorite shows that we all enjoy watching, but they just so happen to be a few of the many series nominated at the inaugural Critics’ Choice Real TV Awards! The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) and NPACT, the trade organization serving the producers of nonfiction entertainment content, revealed the nominees today for the first ever Critics’ Choice Real TV Awards, which will take place on June 2, 2019 in Beverly Hills, California. It has also been announced that VH1 is the media partner who will air the awards show on June 9th.

The much-anticipated awards show will honor non-fiction, unscripted and reality programming that we all know, love and have binge-watched. The hit series, RuPaul’s Drag Race leads with a total of five nominations. The streaming platform, Netflix has a total of 33 possible wins. Netflix shows including Queer Eye has four nominations and Our Planet and Tidying Up with Marie Kondo both have three nominations.
