When renowned beauty brand, Shiseido launches new makeup and skincare products, they sure know how to celebrate big! Shiseido, one of the most respected and admired cosmetics companies out, had a hectic weekend starting on Friday, May 31, 2019 at their Malibu beach house as a countless amount of amazing celebrities and beauty influencers gathered together to welcome in some brand new products to the Shiseido family. Shiseido’s launch of Waso, ColorGel LipBalm and Shiseido Sun comes at the perfect time for the summer season. You will definitely be styling with all of these terrific products that are bound to make you feel rejuvenated and refreshed all summer long.
Shiseido kicked off all of the fun on Friday, May 31st with the launch of Waso – a line inspired by Japanese superfoods. Senior Writer at the Los Angeles Times Food Section, Jenn Harris was at the event to introduce celebrity chef, Shirley Chung. Chung gave a special showcase of how to create her scrumptious and mouthwatering meal consisting of honey roasted heirloom carrots with whipped tofu and Yuzu aioli. She talked about the history of the dish and gave attendees an inside look at how to create this spectacular meal. Actress Cassie Scerbo attended the event. Shiseido’s Waso is exclusively sold at Sephora and includes innovative products such as the Purifying Peel Off Mask that is crafted with Japanese red shiso leaves.
Later that day, Shiseido hosted a private Tonic Mixer at their Malibu beach house. Afterwards, celebrity attendees including Stephanie Shepard, Jen Atkin and Scotty Cunha headed for a dinner at Nobu in Malibu.

Day 2 was all about Shiseido’s ColorGel LipBalm. Guests were able to enjoy a beautiful brunch with an exceptional view of Malibu beach and even get their lips read by fortune-teller, Good Fortune with Pamela.
The Shiseido ColorGel LipBalm party continued with a lip and sip happy hour later on in the day. The sensational event had a shaved ice station where guests tried delicious, shaved ice desserts with a variety of flavors including matcha, strawberry and more. Attendees also enjoyed great music with the magnificent Heather Betts DJ’ing the event as well as yummy drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Adrienne Bailon, Gigi Gorgeous and Jamie Chung had a phenomenal time at the lip and sip happy hour for Shiseido’s ColorGel LipBalm.

Celebrity guests had a blast with an energetic day of exercise, yoga and paddle-boarding. Later on that day, entertainment reporter, Catt Sadler hosted a brunch with Shiseido Sun in honor of the launch of her podcast, Naked with Catt Sadler. The podcast features conversations with admirable women from the worlds of entertainment, business, health, wellness and more – right from Sadler’s bedroom.
To end off the busy and successful weekend, Shiseido treated celebs including AnnaLynne McCord, Rachel McCord, Jamie Chung, Bryan Greenberg and Cara Santana to an unforgettable boat ride with music, food and cocktails.
