Get ready to bust a move as Netflix is bringing a remarkable, new dance movie to the streaming platform. Netflix recently announced that production has begun on their new film, Work It, which has a star-studded list of fan-favorite actors and actresses. The movie stars none other than Sabrina Carpenter, Liza Koshy and Jordan Fisher; and it’s definitely bound to be a movie we all will be watching (and dancing along to) multiple times!
Let’s learn more about Work It here: “When Quinn Ackerman’s (Sabrina Carpenter) admission to the college of her dreams depends on her performance at a dance competition, she forms a ragtag group of dancers to take on the best squad in school…now she just needs to learn how to dance” (source: press release).
We are at the edge of our seats waiting for Work It to release on Netflix, but until then, here are three reasons why we’re super excited for this incredible movie!
1. Work It has a brilliant cast of talented actors and actresses.
As previously mentioned, Sabrina Carpenter, Liza Koshy and Jordan Fisher all star in the highly-anticipated film. Also joining the cast includes Keiynan Lonsdale, Drew Ray Tanner and Michelle Buteau. All of these actors and actresses shine bright in every project they work on. They will definitely bring their unrivaled talents to this movie. Talk about an exceptional cast! They truly are a dream team.
2. It’s a dance movie.
Not only will we get to see all of the actors and actresses named above in a film together, but we’ll also get to see them show off their terrific, dance moves. Aakomon Jones is the choreographer for the movie. Jones and the cast are working endlessly to perfect these dance sequences and bring it to life for the film.
3. Sabrina Carpenter will also executive produce.
In addition to acting and dancing in the film, Sabrina Carpenter will also serve as an executive producer. This young lady can truly do it all!
