If there’s one good thing that came out of being in quarantine, it’s that we all got to thoroughly enjoy and binge-watch Netflix’s fan-favorite series, Outer Banks several times. Well, *this is not a drill* – we have some AMAZING news as the Pogues are back! Netflix has recently announced the second season renewal of the highly-acclaimed series.

As soon as Outer Banks made its way onto the streaming platform, it was a certified hit. The storyline was filled with mystery and adventure as the Pogues set out on a hunt for an enormous treasure. The cast, comprising of Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Drew Starkey, Deion Smith, Julia Antonelli, and Charles Esten all did such a magnificent job bringing the compelling series to life. Needless to say, Outer Banks is an absolute masterpiece and the cast and crew truly created something extraordinary with this show.

Netflix revealed that series creators Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke will all return as showrunners and executive producers for the second season. According to the press release, Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Drew Starkey, Deion Smith, and Charles Esten are all set to reprise their roles.
