Calling all the monsters! Skull’s in session and the children of famous monsters and creatures have joined together for another spook-tacular school year. Mattel, Inc., Nickelodeon, and Paramount+’s highly-acclaimed Monster High: The Movie became an instant hit as soon as it made its way to our screens. The film follows Clawdeen Wolf, a half human / half werewolf, as she arrives at her new school, Monster High. While starting a new school may be difficult for some, Clawdeen Wolf quickly found friends in Frankie Stein and Draculaura, allowing her to finally feel like herself, despite having to keep her human half a secret to the rest of the school. But, trouble comes in a different form when a devious plan to destroy Monster High threatens to reveal Clawdeen’s secret identity. She soon learns that finding her monster heart is what’s key and she sets out to save the day with her friends right by her side.
Monster High: The Movie stars Miia Harris as Clawdeen Wolf, Ceci Balagot as Frankie Stein, and Nayah Damasen as Draculaura. The film brings excellent music, fantastic dance sequences, and a whole lot of ghoulish fun. It became an entertainment phenomenon, so much so, that a sequel to the movie was quickly ordered. In Monster High 2, Clawdeen Wolf, Frankie Stein, and Draculaura were faced with even bigger challenges, enough to not only affect their friendship, but change the world forever.
Harris, Balagot, and Damasen truly did a wondrous job in Monster High: The Movie and Monster High 2. They are an incredible, dream team who helped bring out a great message in the films—to always embrace your true self. Balagot, Damasen, and Harris’ talents are mesmerizing and they are phenomenal inspirations to all of their fans.
