What does highly-acclaimed and renowned projects including Guardians of the GalaxyJurassic World and Parks and Recreation have in common?! They are all fan-favorite projects that the one, the only, profound and consummate actor Chris Pratt has showcased his unrivaled, acting skills in. Needless to say, Chris Pratt is truly a legend and a great asset to the entertainment world. No words are sufficient enough to describe just how much of a gifted actor Chris Pratt is and he has truly made the greatest impact in the lives of so many. Of course, we also can’t help but mention that he definitely is everyone‘s #ManCrush everyday.

So, when we found out that Chris Pratt would be honored with the prestigious “Generation Award” at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards, we couldn’t contain our excitement. According to the press release, “The award celebrates beloved actors whose diverse contributions to both film and television have turned them into household names in the industry. Past recipients of the award include the “Fast & Furious” franchise, Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Wahlberg, Sandra Bullock, Jamie Foxx, Johnny Depp, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, Tom Cruise and Jim Carrey.”

Chris Pratt has definitely contributed an undeniable amount to the acting world and he is beyond deserving of this year’s “Generation Award.”

MTV never fails to bring out an endless amount of excitement to all viewers – from the network’s awesome TV shows to its epic award shows. In just a couple more weeks, MTV’s highly-anticipated MTV Movie & TV Awards will be making its way on over to the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles, California on June 18, 2018 and this is bound to be one phenomenal award show filled with all of our favorite celebs under one roof. This event celebrates fans’ favorites when it comes to movies and TV shows and we can’t wait to see who will be winning big at the award show.

To add onto the fun, MTV recently announced the exceptional performers at the event. The stupendous Nick Jonas and platinum producer Mustard will be performing their new single “Anywhere” for the first time in its entirety at the terrific event. In addition, the immensely talented, girl power duo Chloe x Halle will be taking the stage at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards to perform a medley of their songs “The Kids Are Alright” and “Warrior” from their remarkable, debut album. Needless to say, the performances at this year’s extraordinary award show will be unforgettable and we can’t wait to see these spectacular artists jam out on stage.

In addition, MTV also announced several celebs who you can look forward to seeing present at the MTV Movie & TV Awards. Michael B. Jordan, Seth Rogen, Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Zendaya, Gina Rodriguez and Common are all set to present at the event.

She is the brilliant Tiffany Haddish! The marvelous Tiffany Haddish truly defines what it is like to be a multi-talented and admirable woman. Now, the prolific Tiffany Haddish can add “host” onto her very impressive resume as it has just been announced that she will be hosting the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards that will take place on June 18th at 9:00 PM ET / PT.

“Tiffany Haddish is quickly establishing herself as one of the most sought-after actresses and comedic talents in television and film. She exploded onto the scene after her breakout performance in the blockbuster hit “Girls Trip;” recently released a New York Times bestselling book The Last Black Unicorn; and late last year became the first black female stand-up comedian to host “Saturday Night Live.” Haddish’s viral appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” led her to become the face of Groupon and appear in the company’s 2018 Super Bowl commercial.” (source: press release)

The extraordinary Rob Dyrdek is truly a genius behind some of the greatest projects including the fan-favorite show, Ridiculousness, which showcases the most hilarious, epic fails of all time. Well now, Rob Dyrdek is bringing out a new show that exhibits the total opposite of ridiculous moments, it showcases some of the most talented individuals showing what they got for a chance to walk away with $10,000 in cash. It all goes down in the much-anticipated, brand new series, Amazingness, which is set to make its way on over to our TV screens on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 10:30 PM ET / PT on MTV.

From musical acts to acrobatics and even someone balancing a ladder on his face… yes, you read that right, it’s hard to decide who should win at this phenomenal, talent show. Amazingness is hosted by none other than Rob Dyrdek with celebrity judges Eddie Huang from Fresh Off The Boat, Krystal Bee from Power 106 and Drama from Rob & Big, Fantasy Factory, with many surprise, special guests including Liza Koshy and Ashanti.

“In “Amazingness,” Dyrdek will introduce the world to the most ridiculously talented young people in the country – an eclectic and diverse mix of amateur and viral talent, who compete to earn the top spot. After each performance, Dyrdek and the judges will decide who stays on top and who gets dropped. It’s one of the most highly-anticipated and epic award shows of the year, it’s the renowned and prestigious MTV Video Music Awards! Every single one of MTV’s stupendous award shows always promises an unforgettable time filled with tons of sensational performances, incredible celebrity guests, and moments you’ll never expect. This year, the MTV Video Music Awards is bound to be even bigger and better than ever. Taking place at the “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, California on August 27th at 8:00 PM ET / PT, none other than the remarkable, singing phenomenon Katy Perry will be hosting the outstanding award show.

MTV continues to stand out as one phenomenal network that brings excitement to the next level with innovative ways to bring the very best of entertainment to all fans. MTV joined together with several, terrific Instagram stars to help bring out the nominees via Instagram Live – something that hasn’t been done yet at any other award show. Instagram stars Bretman Rock, Ariel Martin (Baby Ariel), DC Young Fly, Andrea Russet, Chantel Jeffries, Ricky Dillon, StassiBaby, Jay Versace and Nate Garner all helped reveal the complete list of nominees.

In addition, MTV is bringing out non-gendered categories at the VMAs, similar to what was done at their MTV Movie & TV Awards. The “Best Female Video” and “Best Male Video” categories have been joined together for the “Artist Of The Year” award.

It was also announced that in addition to hosting, Katy Perry will also be performing at the award show. She shared her excitement about hosting and said, “I’ve been training with MTV in zero gravity, eating astronaut ice cream, and I’m on a group text with Buzz Aldrin and Neil deGrasse Tyson. Come August 27th, I’ll be ready to be your MOONWOMAN! Brace for impact, kids.”

Kendrick Lamar leads the nominees with a total of eight. Host Katy Perry and The Weeknd tied with a total of five nominations each. MTV is known for hosting some of the most iconic, unforgettable and epic award shows and now, the terrific network is getting us all even more excited for another one of its upcoming award shows – the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. MTV recently revealed the exceptional news that the 2017 MTV VMAs will be returning to the Forum in Los Angeles, California on August 27, 2017.

Last year’s spectacular award show was held at the renowned Madison Square Garden and now, MTV is happy to bring the award show back to the west coast this August. MTV shared the exciting news via Twitter and tweeted:

According to the press release, “MTV, at 35 years old, has been around almost as long as the Forum. Together, we’re 85 and enjoy lifetimes of music history,” said Shelli Azoff, Managing Partner for the Forum. “This year is sure to be another epic show with many incredible memories for MTV, the award winners, and especially the fans. The entire Forum family is thrilled to welcome back the VMAs!”

The countdown is on for one of the most epic and highly-anticipated nights in entertainment history – the MTV Movie & TV Awards. It goes without saying that this year’s award show is bound to be unforgettable and filled with tons of excellent moments. The MTV Movie & TV Awards is set to be even bigger and better than ever including categories that focus on fan-favorite movies and TV shows. Plus, this year, MTV is bringing even more excitement as MTV will also be hosting a Movie & TV Festival for the first time ever.

This year, fans will be able to get a front row seat to all of the spectacular things that will be happening at the MTV Movie & TV Awards. It’s one big party at the MTV Movie & TV Festival which will take place right outside of the Shrine Auditorium, where the award show will be held on May 7th. The festival will take place prior to the award show and will run from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. During this time, fans will be able to enjoy fun games, win prizes and even the chance to win tickets to attend the MTV Movie & TV Awards, as well as grab some food and drinks. Attendees will also be able to watch live interviews and the festival will be hosted by Terrence J and MTV News Correspondent Gaby Wilson.

In addition, it has been announced that musical sensations Bea Miller, Zara Larsson and All Time Low will be performing at the MTV Movie & TV Festival. Needless to say, we’ll all be jamming out with their incredible performances.

We’re all counting down the days until May 7th when entertainment history will be made again thanks to the one and only, renowned network, MTV. The prestigious and epic 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards will be making its way to the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California to celebrate everyone’s favorites in both film and TV. For the first time ever, this year, the award show will include both movies and TV shows to furthermore expand its one of a kind and unforgettable celebration of pop culture. It has just recently been announced that this year’s host with the most is none other than the incredible, fan-favorite actor and comedian himself, Mr. Adam Devine.

MTV also announced the categories and nominees for this year’s award show and it is certainly getting us all extra excited for the MTV Movie & TV Awards to make its way on over to our TV screens soon. The much talked about and highly-praised film, Get Out was nominated for a total of six times and Beauty and The Beast and Stranger Things were nominated a total of four times. Article: Get Ready For A Bigger And Better Award Show As MTV’s Movie Awards Expands To Include TV Series!

Each and every year, we all always look forward to the epic and unforgettable award shows hosted by MTV. All of MTV’s award shows, events, and shows are absolutely stupendous and the network continues to leave us all in awe with all of the magnificent projects it brings out to all viewers. Well, MTV is giving fans another extraordinary award show to look forward to and this year, it is bound to be even bigger and better. MTV announced that its annual MTV Movie Awards will be expanding with the addition of TV series, so now, we’ll be able to celebrate all of our favorite movies and TV shows during one exceptional award show.

The 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards will be making entertainment history on May 7, 2017 at 8:00 PM ET / PT at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. Prior to the exciting event, MTV will host a “Movie & Television Festival” where attendees will be able to have a pre-party before the awesome award show with live musical performances, special guests, food, and more. Tickets for the fun event will be announced at a later date.

Chris McCarthy, President of MTV said, “We’re living in a golden age of content, and great storytelling and characters resonate regardless of whether you’re watching it in a theater or on TV. The new ‘MTV Movie & TV Awards’ will celebrate even more of the brightest, bravest, funniest and most shared films and TV shows resonating across youth culture.”
