The American Music Awards always makes entertainment history – from all of our favorite musicians being under the same roof and getting honored with some well-deserved awards, to the epic and unforgettable performances that end up being trending topics for weeks. This year, the American Music Awards is bound to be one the biggest and greatest AMAs yet with tons of our favorite musical acts taking on the Microsoft Theatre stage on November 20th. It is definitely a night you will not want to miss out on as the whole world will be talking about all of the spectacular moments from the award show.

To get us all even more thrilled for all of the AMAs excitement, the American Music Awards revealed the incredible star-studded line-up of performers at this year’s award show, and let’s just say we are left in awe with all of the exceptional musical phenomenons that will be rocking out on the stage.

It has been announced that musical icons Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Bruno Mars will be leaving everyone mesmerized with their extraordinary American Music Awards performances. In addition, Fifth Harmony, who will be singing their girl-empowerment song, “That’s My Girl,” as well as James Bay, twenty one pilots, The Chainsmokers and Halsey, and Carlos Vives and Shakira will be bringing out breathtaking performances at the event. One of the many highlights from the terrific award show will be the legendary Sting’s performance who will be performing at this year’s award show as well as being honored with “The American Music Award of Merit” at the event.

Talk about an excellent night filled with some of the most remarkable performances. Also, today, November 2nd marks the date where YOU can start casting your votes for the “New Artist of the Year Un-leashed By T-Mobile” category. The nominees for this category are Alessia Cara, The Chainsmokers, DNCE, Shawn Mendes, and Zayn. One of the most epic nights in entertainment history is about to happen on November 20th and it is none other than the 2016 American Music Awards! Each and every year, the American Music Awards brings out one of the most spectacular and unforgettable award shows honoring all of our favorite musicians and their incredible accomplishments. Now, with the nominations for this year’s event just recently released and with one musician even setting a new record, we can already tell that this year’s AMAs will be absolutely stupendous!

The outstanding AMAs have just recently revealed this year’s nominees and artists including Justin Bieber, Adele, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and more are some of the many remarkable and immensely talented musicians who have been nominated. In fact, rapping phenomenon and legend Drake set a new record of having the most AMAs nominations in a single year with a total of 13! Congrats Drake!

Joe Jonas and Rachel Platten announced 6 categories of nominees on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Following, the AMAs took to digital platforms to reveal the remaining nominees by announcing five additional categories on Snapchat and ABC News announced the remaining 17 categories via a livestream.

This year’s award show will be even bigger and better for many reasons, one of which is that there have been two new categories added to the award show, “Tour of the Year” and “Video of the Year.”

The nominees for Artist of the Year are Adele, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Drake, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Twenty One Pilots, Carrie Underwood and The Weeknd. Voting is open now and the 10 nominees will be narrowed down to five based on your votes on Monday, November 14 at 8:59:59am PT. Voting will continue up until Thursday, November 17 at 8:59:59pm PT and the winner will be announced at the award show.

The nominees for New Artist of the Year Un-leashed by T-Mobile are Alessia Cara, The Chainsmokers, DNCE, Shawn Mendes and Zayn. Voting for this category is open on November 2nd and fans can vote up to 100 times per day.

The power is in your hands to see your favorite musicians walk home with an award at the 2016 AMAs! Voting is open now for all categories except for New Artist of the Year Un-leashed by T-Mobile and voting can be done once per day, per platform on either AMAVote.com or on Twitter by tweeting the twitter handle of the nominee, the category name and #AMAs.

Article: The 2016 MTV VMAs Are Soon Approaching – Here Are Some Things We’re Looking Forward To The Most At The Event!

One of MTV’s many legendary events is making its way to NYC on August 28th and yes, we’re talking about the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. Picture all of your fave musicians like Queen Beyonce, Drake, Adele, Justin Bieber and more all under one roof and you pretty much have the most epic award show ever. In fact, this year, MTV is bringing the Video Music Awards to the iconic Madison Square Garden for the first time ever, so needless to say, this year’s MTV VMAs will continue to make even more entertainment history.

There are so many things we are super excited for at the 2016 VMAs – first off, we can’t wait to see who will win. MTV announced the nominees for the VMAs recently and we hope you all are getting your votes in so your fave celebs can walk home with a moon man trophy. Some of this year’s many nominees include Beyonce, Adele, Drake, Kanye West and Justin Bieber for “Video Award of the Year” – such a hard decision to just choose one! Other nominees include Ariana Grande and Sia for “Best Female Video,” The Weeknd and Calvin Harris featuring Rihanna for “Best Male Video” and so many more.

In addition to seeing all of the winners, we’re super excited to see all of the performances. Every year the MTV VMAs brings some of the greatest musical performances that has everyone at the event and at home up on their feet and ready to dance and sing along. We wonder who will be rocking out on the stage at this year’s award show.

Of course, we can never forget about the red carpet fashions. One of the most exciting things when it comes to red carpet events is seeing what each of the celebrities are wearing. Are they wearing Prada or Gucci, how about Christian Louboutin or Jimmy Choo? We’ll just have to find out by tuning in to this year’s VMAs!

Not to forget, we can’t wait for more iconic VMAs moments. Remember Britney Spears’ unforgettable “I’m A Slave 4 U” performance at the MTV Video Music Awards? We can’t wait to see other memorable and exciting things happen at the VMAs that we’ll get to remember years later. Bring in the rush of VMA #Nostalgia!

Aside from being some of the greatest and biggest musical phenomenons on this planet, there is another thing that musicians including Beyonce, Adele, Drake, and Justin Bieber have in common. Think you can guess what it is? It is that they are all up for a nomination for “Video of the Year” at the renowned and iconic MTV Video Music Awards! The MTV Video Music Awards is making its way to Madison Square Garden for the first time ever on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 9:00 PM ET / PT.

Just recently, MTV announced its list of nominees for this year’s epic award show, and yet again MTV has amazed us with a host of spectacular nominees. It’s so hard to choose who we want to see win! Beyonce has a total of 11 nominations at this year’s event and Adele received eight nominations.

This year, MTV revealed the nominees for “Video of the Year” in an incredibly unique and interesting way. The nominees were revealed in a panoramic mural created by BD White, John Paul Ogrodnick (JPO), Damien Mitchell, Marc Evan, Resa, BKFoxx, Queen Andrea, Hektad, Giz, Such and Poem One at the First Street Green Art Park in New York’s East Village.
