Why sit still and look pretty when you can change the world? Ever since Daya set foot in the entertainment industry and brought out her musical masterpieces to the world, we all knew that she would be an influential musician whose impeccable talent and extraordinary, head-strong persona would set her apart from other musicians. Her hit song, “Hide Away” connected with girls from all over the world who are looking high and low for where the good boys go to hide away. She then released many more exceptional songs off of her EP that lead to the release of her awe-inspiring and stupendous album, “Sit Still, Look Pretty.” Daya is the perfect example of an elegant, hard-working, admirable, determined, focused, ambitious, young lady who deserves all of the successes she has and will continue to receive. She inspires girls, and everyone in general, to see their potential and to go after their dreams. Each one of Daya’s songs proves her to be the life-changing and powerful musician that our generation truly needs.

Daya’s chart-topping track “Hide Away” went double platinum and this remarkable, young lady has even had several nominations at renowned award shows including the MTV Video Music Awards and the American Music Awards for her collaboration track with The Chainsmokers titled “Don’t Let Me Down.” Daya brings girl power to another level and she is someone who brings so much class and confidence to all of her breathtaking projects.

I, Alexisjoyvipaccess had the greatest honor of covering the renowned, prestigious, and inspiring 2016 Nickelodeon HALO Awards for the third year in a row and had a spectacular time interviewing the wonderful Daya again at the event. Article: Singing Sensation Daya Is Ready To Rock Out In Her Acting Debut On Nickelodeon’s School Of Rock!

We know the magnificent Daya as the singing sensation who has brought out some of the greatest songs we love listening to including “Hide Away,” “Sit Still, Look Pretty,” and her collaboration with The Chainsmokers, “Don’t Let Me Down.” Now, the inspiring and headstrong singer will be making her exciting acting debut, and what better TV show to bring out her acting skills than on Nickelodeon’s highly-acclaimed, Emmy nominated, hit TV show, School of Rock.

Billboard.com announced the news and described the highly-anticipated episode as follows, “In Daya’s episode, titled “I Put A Spell On You,” Summer (Jade Pettyjohn) gets hypnotized to improve her singing and plans to duet with Tomika (Breanna Yde) in an audition for a TV singing competition. But Summer’s new talent sparks a rivalry and both girls instead try out against each other. Daya portrays one of the judges for the competition. The episode will premiere this fall.”

If there is one young lady who we can think of that has some of the most inspiring songs that empowers girls and helps bring out girl power, the musician that instantly pops into everyone’s minds is none other than the extraordinary and immensely talented Daya! From her hit songs like “Hideaway” to “Sit Still, Look Pretty,” all of her songs bring out a phenomenal message and she defines what it is like to be a classy, hardworking and spectacular individual!

The exceptional Daya looked so gorgeous as she attended the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards yesterday, April 30, 2016 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. Daya looked so beautiful at the event and she even performed a mashup of “Hideaway” and “Peter Pan” with Kelsea Ballerini at the event.

We all can truly agree that the magnificent Daya is one immensely talented singer whose songs are so spectacular and inspiring, and she continues to show how much of an inspiration she is to everyone! Having accomplished so much already in her excellent singing career, like her hit, chart-topping track “Hide Away” going platinum, Daya is a perfect example of a young lady who works so hard and has achieved an endless amount of accomplishments while continuing to be someone with true class and someone who is a great role model to all of her fans. With a talent like no other, it’s clear to see how Daya has become the singing sensation she truly is whose success continues to skyrocket!

This week has been incredibly exciting for the remarkable Daya as she had a lot of terrific news to bring out to her fans! Daya released the official lyric video to her new single “Sit Still, Look Pretty,” and this song is truly so motivating and encouraging to everyone who listens to it. One thing about Daya’s music is that once you listen to it, you can’t help but think to yourself, “Wow, this is one outstanding, young lady that this generation needs!” Everyone will surely find themselves proud to look up to Daya.

Daya also announced her collab track with the extraordinary Chainsmokers which will be coming out this Friday and she is currently embarking on tour with Jack and Jack! So much is going on in the wonderful world of Daya and her future continues to point to many more phenomenal successes!

Once upon a time a young lady with an incredible talent whose music is absolutely empowering made her mark in an exceptional way in the entertainment world. For singing sensation Daya, this is the start of the story of her stupendous and remarkable singing career. When you hear the special song on the radio with the familiar lyrics, “Where do the good boys go to Hide Away, Hide Away?” – you’re hearing the marvelous and outstanding Daya take over all of the air waves with her incredibly catchy and magnificent song. Through all of her sensational songs that she brought out to the world with her amazing self-titled EP, “Daya,” listeners can tell how much of an influential, head-strong, confident, inspiring, young lady Daya is. Daya defines what it is like to be someone with true class and it’s so refreshing to see that there are people like this wonderful artist who doesn’t want to “sit still, look pretty” and wants to work hard to achieve their goals.

Daya is exactly what this generation needs – an admirable individual that people can look up to. I’m proud to say that all of her songs are my anthems and her thousands of fans can truly agree! Daya has already accomplished so much in her singing career including her song “Hide Away” going gold and performing on Kelly & Michael as well as The Late, Late Show with James Corden, amongst other things. For a young lady whose talent is indescribable and who is a great role model, Daya truly deserves all of her success and there is a lot more coming for this terrific singer!

An inspiring event that raises money for cancer and AIDs research combined, with some of the music industry’s biggest musicians and add in a lot of fun activities and bowling fun, it all equals one recipe for a spectacular and stupendous event, the TJ Martell Foundation’s Family Day NY! The TJ Martell Foundation is one incredible foundation whose work is helping to change the world. In addition to being known as one inspiring foundation, the TJ Martell Foundation is also known for putting together some of the most fantastic events – terrific events for a terrific cause? It’s a win, win!

On December 13, 2015, the TJ Martell Foundation was back again with its annual New York Family Day event which took place at the Brooklyn Bowl. At the event were some of your favorite musicians including Joe Jonas with DNCE, Jack and Jack, Hunter Hayes, Daya, Becky G, Max, Rachel Platten and AJR. Actress and singer, Laura Marano was the mistress of ceremonies at the event and brought her exuberant, joyful and lovable persona on the stage and hyped everyone up for the excellent, upcoming performances alongside the sensational Elvis Duran, who hosted the event. Alissa Pollack was the honoree at this year’s event.

Needless to say, with all of these remarkable performers, the event was beyond successful and truly one unforgettable night for everyone who attended. Joe Jonas with DNCE had everyone going crazy with their hit song, “Cake By The Ocean” while sensations Jack and Jack had everyone at the Brooklyn Bowl swooning. Hunter Hayes brought his humble persona on stage as he continued to leave everyone in awe and Daya sang every girl’s anthem with her incredible songs off of her EP. Becky G rocked the Brooklyn Bowl stage and Max had everyone singing along to his great songs including “Gibberish”. Rachel Platten sang her chart-topping songs and AJR brought some awesome new music to fans at the event.

In addition to the fantastic performances, many charitable events happened throughout TJ Martell Foundation’s Family Day. For instance, many people were able to bowl with their favorite celebrities at the event (talk about a STRIKE!) and other auctions took place including being able to present Daya on the stage. All of the proceeds from the event went towards TJ Martell Foundation’s cancer and AIDs research. Did you know that the TJ Martell Foundation has raised over $5 million for research at top hospitals across the country? How amazing is that?!
