Article: Lisa Vanderpump And The Vanderpump Dog Foundation’s Impactful Documentary “The Road To Yulin… And Beyond” Is Available Now On Prime Video!

We know the extraordinary Lisa Vanderpump for being a woman who can do it all – she’s a spectacular, television personality, author, restauranteur and the list goes on and on. However, one of Lisa Vanderpump’s most inspiring endeavors yet is her work to help put an end to the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and all of the barbaric treatment towards dogs all over the world. Lisa Vanderpump, Ken Todd and the Executive Director of the Vanderpump Dog Foundation, Dr. John Sessa, held a special premiere of their documentary, The Road to Yulin… and Beyond at the LA Awareness Festival back in October 2017. They were joined by other amazing celebrities including Lisa Rinna, Leona Lewis, Maria Menounos and many others to help bring awareness towards this moving documentary. In fact, The Road to Yulin… and Beyond even won the Audience Choice Award at the event.

It has just been announced that The Road to Yulin… and Beyond has been exclusively released on Prime Video. You can watch this eye-opening documentary by streaming it on Amazon Prime with a Prime subscription or by renting or purchasing the documentary here for those in the US and here for those in the UK.

According to the press release, “The documentary, a first for Vanderpump and her husband Kenneth Todd, covers the last two years of their 501(c)(3) non-profit, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation’s mission trips to China, to expose the torture that occurs during the annual Yulin Dog Meat Festival. Led by their business partner and the Executive Director of the Foundation, Dr. John Sessa, the film gives an in depth look at the dichotomy between the empathetic, companionship-based human/canine relationships exhibited in many countries, and the horrific and brutal interactions that dogs face in parts of the world that have an unrestrained dog meat trade.”

The documentary truly gives people the push to take action and help make this world a better place to live in, especially for the wonderful dogs who make life so much more worth living. The recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills showcased footage from the premiere of The Road to Yulin… and Beyond and was a terrific platform to continue to get the word out about this emotional documentary.

Fun, flirty, and full of drama, Vanderpump Rules is everyone’s guilty pleasure. The words “class” and “elegance” are synonymous to the extraordinary and stupendous, Lisa Vanderpump. Not only is Lisa Vanderpump one of the most prolific individuals on this planet, being an actress, television personality, author, and restauranteur, amongst many other things, but she also is a hero to so many adorable pups. Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd have created an incredibly impactful foundation known as the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation. This remarkable foundation has helped save hundreds and hundreds of dogs from all over the world and has helped them get adopted into homes that will give them the love and care that they deserve.

The Vanderpump Dogs Foundation has helped many dogs that would have otherwise been abused and hurt and the foundation has brought awareness to help put an end to the barbaric Yulin Dog Meat Festival. In fact, Lisa Vanderpump has made many efforts with her foundation to assist the many loyal and amazing dogs who become the best-friends we can’t live without. She has opened up a Vanderpump Dogs Foundation rescue center, which provides a beautiful atmosphere for dogs, their owners and dog lovers to enjoy. She also worked on an eye-opening documentary focusing heavily on the tragedies brought about by the Yulin Dog Meat Festival.

It’s clear to see that Lisa Vanderpump is a life-saver and she, her husband, Ken Todd and many of her closest friends and famous celebrities came out to show their support towards the 2nd Annual Vanderpump Dogs Foundation Gala on November 9, 2017 at the Taglyan Cultural Complex in Los Angeles, California.

The extraordinary event was hosted by the one and only, outstanding Mario Lopez. Celebrities including Mohamed Hadid, Pandora Vanderpump, Lance Bass, Michael Turchin, Tom Sandoval, Scheana Marie, Dolores Catania, and many others attended the event. The incredible gala had an auction, a terrific photo-booth, and many more exceptional activities. Everyone looked so stunning as they were dressed to the nines at the event.

Lisa Vanderpump, Ken Todd, and all that support the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation has and continues to make such a great difference in the lives of so many dogs. It’s so wonderful to see the efforts made by the Vanderpump family and the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation to make a big impact in this world.

Lisa Vanderpump continues to conquer our television screens with her very own brilliant show titled, Vanderpump Rules, which is everyone’s favorite guilty pleasure to binge-watch. In addition, Lisa Vanderpump also owns three of the most luxurious, hot spot restaurants – PUMP, Villa Blanca, and SUR, that are all the rave. Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd’s inspiring Vanderpump Dog Foundation has already done so much to bring awareness towards dog abuse and to help give these adorable pups a caring and loving home.

Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd’s latest endeavor is their documentary, The Road To Yulin… and Beyond, which had its highly-anticipated premiere at the Los Angeles Awareness Film Festival on October 5, 2017 in Los Angeles, California. Many spectacular celebrities came out to support Vanderpump and Todd’s impactful documentary to stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. The documentary is truly eye-opening and is yet another one of Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd’s projects to change the world we live in and help make this world a better place.

Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd have a Vanderpump Dog Rescue Center in Los Angeles that creates a fabulous and sensational atmosphere for dog owners, dog lovers and canines to bond together. In addition, the rescue center also offers adoption opportunities. The Vanderpump Dog Foundation has already helped hundreds of dogs get rescued and be cared for by a wonderful family.

You know what they say, a dog is a person’s best-friend, and what would we do without our four-legged BFFs? Dogs are more than just a pet – they’re the best companion, they can instantaneously put a smile on everyone’s face, and they’re an amazing part of the family. That’s why we celebrate our furry friends today and everyday. The stupendous philanthropist, entrepreneur, and television star, Lisa Vanderpump and her incredible husband, Ken Todd had a remarkable time celebrating the 2nd Annual World Dog Day yesterday, June 25, 2017 with their extraordinary and impactful foundation, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation.

The whole block was closed down for one special day filled with fun, great music, over 35 vendors, and a whole lot of doggy love. From start to finish, the spectacular event was jam-packed with so much excitement. The event kicked off with a terrific dog agility park show and was followed by the pink carpet, where all of the fan-favorite and sensational celebrities made their way to pose for photographers and show their support towards the magnificent event and marvelous Vanderpump Dog Foundation. Celebrities in attendance at the event included James Kennedy, Asia Monet Ray, Allison King, Priscilla Ford, and many more. Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd had an exceptional time catching up with friends and taking time to take pictures with fans and supporters who came out to the awesome event.

It was certainly a wonderful day celebrating our fantastic, four-legged friends. Adding onto all of the fun, the event also had live performances from Nash Overstreet and Symon as well as an epic DJ set by James Kennedy. Afterwards, the phenomenal Lisa Vanderpump gave an inspiring and touching speech to give awareness to what the event and foundation is all about – preventing the horrors at Yulin. Lisa Vanderpump said, “While we will be celebrating World Dog Day, our hearts will be grieving and our focus remains on Yulin and bringing it to an end once and for all.” (source: press release)

Dr. John Sessa, Executive Director of The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, who was also in attendance at the event said, “We are using this day to pause and remember the lives lost in Yulin, but also to show the world exactly what a dog festival should be like, a celebration of dogs and a testament to how invaluable they are to man.”

Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd have and continue to touch the lives of many – from our furry friends to the owners themselves. They have made so many admirable efforts to change the world and help make this world a better place to live in, especially for the lovable dogs we cherish having in our lives. From a pawdicurist to a fabulous dog beauty pageant and delicious food from food trucks to enjoy throughout the day, the 2nd Annual World Dog Day presented by Zappos For Good and SynLawn was a day to remember and one that made both owners and dogs smile oh, so big.

In addition to being an all-around icon in the worlds of fashion, entertainment, business, and beyond, the prolific Lisa Vanderpump is also known for her love for dogs and the great efforts she puts in to giving dogs a more humane world to live in through her spectacular Vanderpump Dogs Foundation. The wonderful Lisa Vanderpump has many dogs of her own and now, she is sharing her love along with her husband, Ken Todd to help bring awareness, education, and positive treatment towards dogs.

Excellent vibes and pure joy is what a person experiences as they spend some time at the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation Rescue Center. From all of the stellar dog accessories including bedazzled collars, cupcake-designed clothing, a rhinestone, ornate water bowl, dog books, and more, the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation Rescue Center radiates the kind of care, passion, love, and fun Lisa Vanderpump has with her dogs in one outstanding atmosphere.

The rescue center, which not only sells a lot of fun goodies for your dogs including dog biscuits that look so good it would make a human want to try it (of course, we don’t recommend that – leave the special treat to your pup!), also serves as a rescue and adoption facility for homeless dogs. There are so many dogs in need of a home and through the incredible Vanderpump Dogs Foundation and rescue center, you can now help make the lives of many dogs better and give them the comfortable, caring home they deserve.

Many celebrities came to show their support towards this exciting day for Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd. The stupendous Lance Bass and his husband arrived with big smiles across their faces and even brought two very special guests with them – their super cute dogs! Other celebrity guests include renowned celebrity hair stylist, Chaz Dean, the sensational musician, Leona Lewis, as well as Vanderpump Rules cast-members including Scheana Marie, Katie Maloney, Stassi Schroeder, amongst many others.

Everyone at the marvelous event can agree that the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation Rescue Center is truly one of a kind. With chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and such a classy and elegant look, the rescue center is a phenomenal place for both dog lovers and dogs to feel safe, happy, and oh, so fantastic.
