It’s always so incredible to see when some of our favorite celebrities use their platform for good, and some spectacular stars will be showing their support towards the inspiring Jonathan Foundation’s upcoming “Annual Spring Fundraiser” event. Celebrity Youth Ambassadors for the Jonathan Foundation: Jacob Hopkins, Terrell Ransom Jr, Merit Leighton, and Marlowe Peyton are set to attend the terrific event that will be taking place on May 20, 2017 at the Marconi Automotive Museum. All of the proceeds from the incredible event will benefit The Jonathan Foundation’s Scholarship Award Program. The Jonathan Foundation is one magnificent foundation founded by Raja Marhaba to help children with learning disabilities. This extraordinary foundation has truly impacted the lives of many and has assisted kids in more ways than imaginable.
The immensely talented Jacob Hopkins has been an avid supporter of The Jonathan Foundation for many years now. In addition to balancing working on a hit, animated show titled, The Amazing World of Gumball and starring in the fantastic movie, Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life, amongst many of his other amazing projects, Jacob has spent a lot of time to bring awareness towards The Jonathan Foundation.
Jacob’s admiration for the excellent foundation happened immediately as soon as he heard about it and he was on board right away to show his 100% support. Jacob said, “The Jonathan Foundation has been, and will continue to be an outstanding and beautiful foundation to be apart of! I became involved four years ago because my mom became friends with the founder, Raja Marhaba. She then told me about the foundation and I was immediately hooked and wanted to help in any way I could. It has given countless children a blessed life by serving their needs providing wonderful opportunities for their education. I personally love it because it has helped people that are near and dear to me receive the proper assessments they need and in turn a tremendous difference in their education. Raja takes a personal interest in the families that the foundation serves and guides them in ways that they never thought possible. Learning about The Jonathan Foundation is definitely worthwhile!”
The sensational Terrell Ransom Jr, who also stars in The Amazing World of Gumball in addition to his work on Days of Our Lives and focusing on his music career, has put in a lot of effort to help those find the resources they need to get the best education. Terrell talked about his involvement with The Jonathan Foundation and said, “I was invited to attend the first annual charity event where I learned that there are a lot of kids and teens with learning disabilities that are not getting treated fairly by teachers in school or receiving the type of education they really need. Some are even being bullied by teachers and kids because they are different or learn differently. The Jonathan Foundation helps these families find the right schools or programs, or give them the resources that they need. The Jonathan Foundation changes these kids’ lives for the better and that’s why I’m a Youth Ambassador.”
Keeping busy with her excellent YouTube channel and voicing the role of “Lucinda The Witch” on the fan-favorite Disney show, Sofia The First, Merit Leighton is thrilled to continue off her third year as a celebrity ambassador for The Jonathan Foundation. Merit continues to spread the word about The Jonathan Foundation and lend a helping hand whenever possible. She said, “The Jonathan Foundation founded by Raja B. Marhaba is an incredible charity helping kids with special needs and learning disabilities access the education they need. I found out about the foundation and the amazing work they were doing when friends of mine needed an advocate. Their personal journey along with many other amazing stories are why I want to donate my time and efforts to The Jonathan Foundation.”
Marlowe Peyton, who stars as Reba on Fresh Off The Boat continues to place a big importance on supporting various foundations and partaking in a lot of charity work. After seeing all of the work that her sister, Merit has done with The Jonathan Foundation, Marlowe shared her inspiration for becoming a celebrity ambassador for the foundation and said, “When my sister Merit Leighton became a youth ambassador for the Jonathan Foundation I got the chance to attend their fundraiser. I was brought to tears by the stories I heard there, and I was deeply touched by what the foundation was doing for these kids in need. I hope to continue in my sister’s footsteps and donate my time and efforts to this important charity.”
It’s so admirable to see these remarkable actors and actresses continuing to prove themselves as extraordinary role models to all of their fans by working hard at what they are passionate about and encouraging others to support marvelous foundations like The Jonathan Foundation to help make a difference in the lives of others.
