Now you all remember my previous article where I introduced you to the Lucki Gurlz, right?! Of course! Well now on this Lucki Monday, you “Get To Know More About” the Lucki Gurlz!! See, I told you VIPs that you were LUCKI!!
Take a look below for my VIP Access EXCLUSIVE interview I had with the Lucki Gurlz! It was a pleasure to interview these terrific gurlz!!
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q1: How did the Lucki Gurlz get started?
Lucki Gurlz: We all share that same passion for singing, dancing and performing! A few of us knew each other from the dance world, and two of the gurlz auditioned to be in the group that our producer, Allstar was developing.
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q2: What upcoming projects are the Lucki Gurlz working on?
Lucki Gurlz: We have been recording original songs for our album…and we’re so excited because the songs showcase our individual styles, too. We are also making videos for a few cover songs with our producer and production team. We are preparing for record label meetings, upcoming showcases, and preparing to take our LG show on tour. We have Lucki Charmz (our fans) from all over who have been requesting for us to visit their cities. Nothing would make us happier then performing for all of our fans!
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q3: You gurlz are being compared to the Spice Girls. Just like how each member of the Spice Girls had their own personality, do you feel each member of the Lucki Gurlz has their own personality? If so, what is your personality like?
Lucki Zan: We all bring something different to the group just like the Spice Girls did. Our choreographer gave me the Lucki Charm symbol of a diamond because it’s the symbol of a diva…not because of my attitude as a person, but for my determination when I perform, and for my love for fashion…so I guess I am the “Posh Spice” of the group.
Lucki Starr: I am outgoing and playful, but very serious, some call me a “Diva” (in a good way) because I am very determined about my work. I love fashion, so in that respect I am similar to Posh Spice, but my spunky personality, and big hair is similar to Scary Spice. Our choreographer called me “Fierce like Fire” because I turn up the heat, but will burn any obstacles that get in my way.
Lucki Rae: Yes, we definitely do. I am definitely the rocker of the group. I have a little bit of edge to me in the way I sing, dance and
dress. I’m very outgoing, candid, spontaneous, sporty, and passionate about my work. I am Sporty Spice.
Lucki Sam: I am like the Baby Spice of the group, not just because I stand tall at 4’11” lol.. but because I have a bubbly personality, and I am funny. Our producer nicknamed me, “Lil Big Voice”, because I belt it out when I sing!
Lucki Bree: Each of us has a different personality and energy that we bring to the group. My personality is bubbly, chill, and I have an urban flair that I bring to my Lucki family! I am Ginger Spice.
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q4: How many years have you been dancing and singing and what’s your favorite part of both?
Lucki Starr: I have been dancing since I was a year old. Since I can remember, I have always said I wanted to be a triple
threat, singer, dancer, and actress like some of my idols. I have been training vocally for a few years now. I love the fact that
when I sing and dance, I can express all of my emotions, (I have an alter ego too), and being able to perform is an experience
that I can share!
Lucki Zan: I’ve done various types of dancing for 8 years now. My favorite thing about dancing, and singing are that they are
exciting experiences, and both give me the opportunity to show my artistic expression.
Lucki Rae: I started taking jazz classes when I was 4 yrs old, and vocal lessons by the age of nine. I love to dance because I
can express myself through the music. I love to sing for the same reason but also I love to be on stage, and show my personality through my performance. I lose myself when I am singing and I forget about anything that’s going on in my life at that time.
Lucki Sam: I’ve been singing for 6 years and been dancing for almost a year. I love them both equally because they both express the way I am feeling at any moment.
Lucki Bree: I have been dancing since I was 4 yrs. old, and I’ve always loved to sing and perform since I could speak. My favorite thing about both is that it allows me to express myself in a way that words just can’t explain.
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q5: Where do you hope to see the Lucki Gurlz in a few years from now?
Lucki Gurlz: We hope that we are still enjoying the rush of adrenaline that accompanies a live performance, having sold millions of records, and touring the world internationally! Hopefully, we will have inspired, and empowered other kids to believe in themselves, and follow their dreams. And to prove to everyone around our nation to always believe in yourself because dreams can come true! We would love to be a household name, and be great role models. Lucki Gurlz dolls, a clothing line, shoe line, an accessory line and a hit TV show would be awesome to add too!
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q6: How has the experience been so far for you being a Lucki Gurl?
Lucki Zan: I’m really enjoying learning a new style of dance and singing, and training with some of the best in the industry…this allows me additional ways to express my artistic side. It’s been extremely exciting to be training in the heart of the entertainment
industry, NYC. It’s been a great experience learning how this business works from the beginning. And this experience has been great with my LG sisters.
Lucki Starr: This experience has been my dream come true! I have aspired for years to be able to do what I love, to sing and dance on a professional level! To be able to share this experience with my Lucki sista’s, and our awesome team is a bonus! It’s nice to know that I have four Lucki sisters who are experiencing this journey together, and we have each other!
Lucki Rae: I love being a Lucki Gurl. We are family and like family sometimes we get on each others’ nerves, but like sisters we
always make up. I love that we have each other and that we are all going through this Lucki journey together.
Lucki Sam: Amazing, I met many people throughout the journey, and I love every minute of being able to do what I love with my Lucki sistas.
Lucki Bree: My experience has been great! It’s a lot of hard work, but I get to do I love most, and that I am very passionate about, so it’s worth it! No matter where you come from, or what you have been through, you can always pick yourself back up and make a change, and prove to all those people who doubted you, that you can do anything you set your mind to!
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q7: If you could send out one message to your fans, what would you like to say to them?
Lucki Gurlz: Embrace who you are! Believe in yourself, and follow your heart, and be empowered! Everyone is special and unique, and has something great to offer! The negative people will always be there. Don’t let them make you feel bad, instead, feel bad for them
because they are the ones who are unhappy. Unfortunately, they look out at the world with negativity. If they had great things going on for themselves they would be too busy enjoying the blessings in their life instead of worrying about the blessings in yours. Thank
you for all the love and support!

Knowing these girls and seeing their dedication, not only in their group but as individuals, has been an inspiration. I can’t remember being do driven at such a young age. The daily sacrifices they make, and the time they put into perfecting their craft is what makes the Lucki Gurlz a special kind of girls group. They’re not only talented but they are kind, generous and truly have a deep love for eachother. I am proud to watch them grow into empowered young women. You Glow Gurlz!
