One day in Los Angeles, the next in London; the admirable and jet-setting Elizabeth Stanton is always on the go and keeping uber busy with her work! At only almost seventeen-years-old, actress Elizabeth Stanton has packed her bags and is exploring the world with some of her friends in her show, Elizabeth Stanton’s Great Big World.
Sounds cool already, doesn’t it?! But not only does Elizabeth Stanton get the enrichment of learning about new cultures while working on her show; but Elizabeth Stanton also helps those in need! For example, in one episode of Elizabeth Stanton’s Great Big World, Elizabeth visited the children of Nairobi, Kenya; and along with some friends, helped feed the children as they visited one of the schools there.
I recently got the chance to interview the inspiring Elizabeth Stanton and now YOU can enter in Elizabeth’s “Great Big World” and see what she has to say on what a typical day is like working on her show, what inspired her to start working with charities and more! Alexisjoyvipaccess Q1: For those who have yet to see your incredible and educational show, “Elizabeth Stanton’s Great Big World”; can you tell us a little bit about it?
Elizabeth Stanton: “Great Big World” is a show where I travel all around the world with teen celebrities and we get to do really fun activities but we also try to do things that give back and make a difference.
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q2: What inspired you to get started working on your show, “Elizabeth Stanton’s Great Big World”?
Elizabeth Stanton: When I traveled to Kenya, in Africa, for the first time, I saw the horrible conditions that people were living in first hand. I really wanted to do something to help. My main goal was to show kids what is really going on in the world. I also am a firm believer in the fact that every little thing that one can do to help really will make a difference in the world.
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q3: What is it like for you travelling around the world and learning about different cultures while working on your show “Elizabeth Stanton’s Great Big World”?
Elizabeth Stanton: It is truly an amazing experience and privilege to get to travel all over the world. I get to see so many amazing places and meet some fantastic people. I honestly can’t say that I’ve ever had a bad time working on my show. We always have a blast!
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q4: Can you describe for us what a day in the life of filming for “Elizabeth Stanton’s Great Big World” is like for you?
Elizabeth Stanton: We have so much fun on the show! Everyone who has ever guest stared on my show has become like family. The show is really laid back, nothing is scripted. That is cool because the viewer really gets to see what we are actually doing and thinking. We all get really cray on the show too. Behind the scenes we are always joking around and have so many inside jokes about the show!
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q5: One of the many admirable things about you is that at such a young age you are doing above and beyond to help those in need. What inspired you to do so?
Elizabeth Stanton: I believe that our generation is the one that will be able to make change in the world. I’m dedicating my life to showing our generation that any little thing can make a difference.
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q6: You’ve done and are continuing to work with charities like “Toys For Tots” and more. Can you tell us a little bit more about your work with these charities?
Elizabeth Stanton: I’ve worked with Feed the Children, Toys For Tots, Help The Children, Starkey Hearing Foundation, and so many other amazing charities! What I can honestly say about working hands on with so many charities is that my favorite part is seeing the families faces light up when you help them during their time in need. It truly is an amazing experience!
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q7: What can we expect in upcoming episodes of “Elizabeth Stanton’s Great Big World”?
Elizabeth Stanton: Season two of “Great Big World” is going to be really fun! I don’t want to give too much away, but I can say is that some episodes will be really funny! For example you must check out the new Amazing Race episode with Rob Pinkston, Jimmy Bennett, Ashlee Keating, Molly McCook, and Jennifer Veal! That was possibly the most challenging and craziest episode we have ever filmed!
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q8: Besides working on your show, what are some things you enjoy doing when you get some free-time?
Elizabeth Stanton: I love to hang out with my friends, do a little shopping, blasting music and singing at the top of my lungs in my car, and I think I see almost every movie that comes out! I always love an excuse to dress up and wear my sparkly shoes!
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q9: What other upcoming projects are you working on that your fans can look forward to?
Elizabeth Stanton: Most recently I have been working on some episodes in my home town of Los Angeles. It’s been really fun getting to do some of the touristic activities that I most likely would have never done. It’s even cooler that all my friends get to be here with me and a lot more of them are going to be on the show!
Alexisjoyvipaccess Q10: Lastly, if you could bring out one message to your fans, what message would that be?
Elizabeth Stanton: I just want to tell all my fans that I love them! I am so grateful for all of the love and support you all have shown me! Also hit me up with a tweet once in a while, because I love hearing from all of you guys! I will try to get back to all of you!
