Alexisjoyvipaccess: Eddie, can you tell us about your starring role?

Eddie Hassell: Yeah! I play Jackson/Thor; his father in the movie is like this artist played by Matthew Modine and he’s that kind of kid that’s growing up, he’s trying to figure out who he is, he’s trying so hard, he’s trying this and then working with everything from punkers, skater stuff. He really looks up to his dad; so he kind of created this alter ego of “Thor” that he’s like this straight kid that pretends to be gay. He’s just really trying to find himself and get attention and love from his parents.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: Awesome! So what are you looking forward to the most today at the special screening?

Eddie Hassell: Honestly, just to see it! I haven’t seen anything other than trailers so I’m pretty stoked to see it! It’s been like two years since we shot this so I look forward to see what’s up.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: Excellent! And what it is like seeing yourself on the big screen?

Eddie Hassell: Weird! It’s weird, honestly, it’s cool because I mean this is what I’ve always wanted to do ever since I was a kid; but it’s always weird, like I always find something that I hate about it, I guess I’m my worst critic, or toughest critic.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: So lastly, if you could bring out one message to all your fans and viewers, what message would that be?

Eddie Hassell: What message would that be… keep on, keepin’ on! Yeah, just follow your dreams!

Alexisjoyvipaccess: Great! So everyone make sure you check out Eddie on “Family Weekend” coming out in theaters on March 29th, so thank you so much for chatting with me and I look forward to seeing you on the big screen!

Eddie Hassell: Yeah, of course! Are you going to stick around and check it out? Alexisjoyvipaccess: Yup, I am! Nice meeting you! Eddie Hassell: Cool! Nice to meet ya!
