2014 was truly a magnificent year for the marvelous and uber talented, triple threat – actress, singer and dancer: Kat McNamara as she starred in MTV’s Happyland and was a busy bee working on all her projects and upcoming films. It looks like 2015 will be the “Year of the Kat” as Kat McNamara has a lot of thrilling, upcoming projects she is working on!
Deadline.com just recently announced some very exciting news regarding Kat McNamara who booked a role in “The Maze Runner 2” and indie film “Indiscretion”. According to Deadline.com, Kat McNamara will be playing the role of “Sonya” in “The Maze Runner 2” with an expected release on September 18, 2015.
Deadline.com stated, “Wes Ball returns to direct the sequel to Fox’s hit The Maze Runner, the dystopian adventure adapted from James Dashner’s YA series that has grossed over $339 million worldwide. Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Lee Stollman are producing.”
It has also been announced that Kat McNamara booked a role in indie film, “Indiscretion” where she “…plays Lizzy, the precocious daughter of Veronica (Sorvino) and Jake (McDonough), who dreams of one day becoming a successful ballet dancer” (Deadline.com).
A big congratulations to Kat McNamara on booking roles in both these magnificent films! Her talent is just superb and I can’t wait to see her in these films!
