What would you do if you found out that the world was going to end in 34 days? Would you do what is at the top of your bucket list? However, during unfathomable times like this, people who you would never imagine may cross paths, and that is exactly what happens in NBC’s highly-anticipated, action-packed TV series, “You, Me and The Apocalypse”. With a comet set for an unavoidable collision with Earth, everyone is trying to decide what to do with their last days on Earth, which results in unconnected and completely different individuals coming together in ways that you would never expect.

Iain Hollands, Writer and Executive Producer of “You, Me and The Apocalypse,” created some of the most interesting and unique characters for the show, which he somehow blends together in the most intriguing and entertaining way to create a masterpiece of a show. Let’s go ahead and meet some of the fascinating characters.

First off is Father Jude, played by the stupendous and remarkable Rob Lowe. Father Jude is not your average priest as he is foul-mouthed and rebellious, but he is tasked with being the “devil’s advocate” alongside the help of his assistant, Sister Celine Leonti, played by Gaia Scodellaro. Next off, is a librarian named Rhonda who finds herself in the most odd (and terrifying place) – a maximum-security prison where she is placed for committing a crime she actually did not commit. Rhonda, played by Jenna Fischer, eventually finds herself a sidekick that could help her survive the apocalypse named Leanne, played by Megan Mullally. Then, there is Jamie, played by Mathew Baynton, who is a bank manager that is still distressed over the mysterious disappearance of his wife seven years ago. As a result of the upcoming apocalypse, Jamie finds himself on the look-out for his wife. Individuals that you would least expect to be together are actually set to find their way to the bomb shell beneath Slough, and they are destined to become the future of man-kind! Is this a good thing or a bad thing? We will just have to tune in to find out!

All together, the cast includes Rob Lowe, Gaia Scodellaro, Jenna Fischer, Megan Mullally, Mathew Baynton, Joel Fry, Paterson Joseph, Pauline Quirke and Kyle Soller. Such intriguing characters put together in one incredible and extraordinary show that will leave everyone at the edge of their seats with excitement. The cast is truly remarkable, putting together some of the most profound and prolific actors and actresses in the entertainment world. Each of the immensely talented cast-members have their own spectacular and mesmerizing talent that will bring the terrific characters to life.

Iconic actor, Rob Lowe can check off playing a priest from his endless and extensive list of magnificent characters he has played. From leaving everyone in awe with characters he has played in outstanding projects like the legendary “The Outsiders,” “St. Elmo’s Fire,” “About Last Night,” and so many more as well as fan-favorite and award-winning shows like “Parks and Recreation,” “Brothers & Sisters,” and in his new, FOX TV show called “The Grinder,” which is a show he has been working on simultaneously with “You, Me and The Apocalypse”. Rob Lowe is truly one phenomenal and sensational actor who has made movie and TV show history with his impeccable talent.
