Rock on! We all have been sitting at the edge of our seats with excitement for the highly-anticipated premiere of Nickelodeon’s music-filled and remarkable show, “School of Rock,” based on everyone’s favorite and iconic movie. Mark your calendars and get ready for one of the most incredible and exciting days ever because March 12th will definitely be the day everyone is looking forward to! In addition to the epic, slime-tastic and prestigious Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards airing on March 12th, Nickelodeon’s “School of Rock” will also be premiering on the same day. “School of Rock,” which is also produced with Paramount Television, will premiere on March 12th at 9:30 PM ET / PT but will air regularly on Saturdays at 8:30 PM ET / PT.

Let’s learn more about the fantastic show and its all-star and outstanding cast, “School of Rock follows a group of rule-abiding students — Zack (Lance Lim), Lawrence (Aidan Miner), Freddy (Ricardo Hurtado), Summer (Jade Pettyjohn) and Tomika (Breanna Yde) — who learn to take risks and reach new heights thanks to substitute teacher Dewey Finn (Tony Cavalero), a down-on-his-luck musician who uses the language of rock ‘n’ roll to inspire his class to form a secret band. This show brings another level of music magic with many sensational guests on the show including Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy, Kendall Schmidt from Big Time Rush and Nickelodeon veteran, the spectacular and extraordinary actress, Kira Kosarin from “The Thundermans”.

The “School of Rock” cast will also cover some fan-favorite and hit songs on the show including “What I Like About You” (The Romantics),“Lips Are Movin” (Meghan Trainor), “The Kids Are All Right” (The Who), “We’re Not Gonna Take It” (Twisted Sister), “Shut Up and Dance” (WALK THE MOON), “Heart Attack” (Demi Lovato) and more.
