As what the iconic Joan Jett said, “You have to just do what you love and hope other people love it too.” As for Nickelodeon’s latest masterpiece, their incredible show School of Rock brings together a wonderful and exceptional cast that loves what they do and viewers love it just as much too! Only one more day until the highly-anticipated and much talked about premiere of Nickelodeon’s School of Rock and we all are ready to grab our guitars and microphones and jam out while watching this spectacular show!
The cast includes the phenomenal Breanna Yde, Jade Pettyjohn, Aidan Miner, Lance Lim, Ricardo Hurtado and Tony Cavalero and together they make one outstanding “band-mily” (a band and a family). Not only do they all have sensational acting skills, but each one of them also have their own unique and awe-inspiring musical talents that will truly blow you away. Putting this brilliant cast together along with an amazing show based off of a fan-favorite movie and with a lot of excellent music, this show brings one epic musical explosion to all viewers. Needless to say, we all can’t wait to see School of Rock, which is bound to be our absolute favorite show ever.
Let’s learn more about the show! “School of Rock follows a group of rule-abiding students — Zack (Lance Lim), Lawrence (Aidan Miner), Freddy (Ricardo Hurtado), Summer (Jade Pettyjohn) and Tomika (Breanna Yde) — who learn to take risks and reach new heights thanks to substitute teacher Dewey Finn (Tony Cavalero), a down-on-his-luck musician who uses the language of rock ‘n’ roll to inspire his class to form a secret band. Throughout the school year, these middle-school classmates find themselves navigating relationships, discovering their unknown talents and learning lessons on loyalty and friendships” (source: press release).
