When we think of some of the greatest on screen and theatrical projects, there are two immensely talented, young ladies who continue to mesmerize us all with their exceptional work in all of those fan-favorite projects. Meet two of everyone’s favorite actresses: Jenna Ortega and Lilla Crawford. The excellent Jenna Ortega has been in every incredible project we could think of – from Disney Channel’s hit show, Stuck in the Middle to the award-winning show, Jane The Virgin, and an upcoming, animated Disney Junior show, Elena of Avalor, amongst many others. The amazing Lilla Crawford headlined the Broadway revival of Annie and she worked on Billy Elliot, in addition to many more.
So, what’s next for these remarkable, young ladies who have accomplished an incredible amount of amazing things within their careers in the entertainment business? It has just been announced by Broadway.com that Jenna Ortega and Lilla Crawford have joined the cast of the Rockettes’ New York Spectacular and will share the lead teenage role of Emily.
According to Broadway.com, “The new show, penned by Douglas Carter Beane and directed and choreographed by Mia Michaels, follows two kids, who while on a vacation in New York, are separated from their parents. With the help of the Rockettes, the city comes to life to show them its many wonders and reunite the family.” Performances will be from June 15th through August 7th.
