Nickelodeon is known for many things, but if there’s one thing that it is synonymous with, it definitely has to be: slime! Every time Nickelodeon hosts its renowned award shows such as the Kids’ Choice Awards and Kids’ Choice Sports, we all always look forward to a whole lot of slime and which lucky celeb will get a surprise, green sliming. Well, get ready for even more slimetastic fun as Nickelodeon has just announced that SlimeFest will be making its way to the United States next year!

SlimeFest will be a multi-day event for kids and families to enjoy. The remarkable and exciting event will bring together tons of renowned, musical guests and performances, all of your favorite Nickelodeon stars and characters, oh and yeah, one more thing: slime, slime, and even more slime!

The news about SlimeFest was revealed at Nickelodeon’s annual Upfront Presentation in New York City on March 2, 2017. Cyma Zarghami, President, Nickelodeon Group said, “Nickelodeon SlimeFest will combine the best of our brand with all the things we know kids love—pop music, family time and incredibly cool interactive experiences that they can’t get anywhere else. Part music festival and part giant party for the entire family, SlimeFest will bring Nickelodeon to life in a completely new way.” (source: press release)

Nickelodeon’s SlimeFest has already been a massive hit all across the globe in places including Australia, the U.K., Spain, Italy and South Africa, so we are super thrilled to have SlimeFest coming to the United States next year.
