Article: Nickelodeon Has A Lot Of Fun In Store During THE PLAYERS Championship And The “School Of Rock” Cast Stars In The “NickSports Presents Golf Rocks Weekend” Segment!

Nickelodeon is truly one stupendous network known for many things – from its extraordinary live-action and animated shows, to its terrific awards shows, amazing consumer products, and more. In addition to all of its incredible masterpieces, Nickelodeon is also known for encouraging all of its viewers to get up and get active through many exciting, sports activities. Besides all of its work during the Super Bowl by giving fans an inside look into all of the excitement at the event, as well as its annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports award show, Nickelodeon is continuing to give kids a lot to look forward to at the PGA Tour’s THE PLAYERS Championship.

It has just been announced that Nickelodeon has a lot of spectacular and highly-anticipated plans for THE PLAYERS Championship. Nickelodeon has a lot of on-the-ground activities set at the McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation Kid Zone during the championship. Kids and families who attend THE PLAYERS Championship will get to show off their golf skills at the SpongeBob Squarepants mini-golf challenge and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Puttskee. Attendees will also be able to get virtually slimed and even get up close and personal with the iconic SpongeBob Squarepants.

For those who aren’t able to attend THE PLAYERS Championship, Nickelodeon will also be providing a lot of magnificent things for fans to enjoy on their TV screens as well. In fact, on Friday, May 12th through Sunday, May 14th, School of Rock star and talented golfer, Breanna Yde will be hosting the “NickSports Presents Golf Rocks Weekend” segment that will air on Nicktoons. School of Rock stars Aidan Miner, Jade Pettyjohn, Lance Lim, Ricardo Hurtado, and Tony Cavalero will also be joining in on the fun during the Mega Golf Challenge.

According to the press release, “Nickelodeon will also bring kids at home into the action with new, golf-themed content and exclusive coverage of the on-the-ground events leading up to THE PLAYERS in the “NickSports Presents Golf Rocks Weekend” Friday, May 12, through Sunday, May 14, on Nicktoons. Hosted by avid golfer and Nick star Breanna Yde (School of Rock), “NickSports Presents Golf Rocks Weekend” will present interstitials offering a behind-the-scenes look at the tournament, highlights from Nickelodeon’s Kid Zone activation, interviews with PGA TOUR players and more.  On Sunday, May 14, the cast of Nickelodeon’s School of Rock (Breanna Yde, Aidan Miner, Jade Pettyjohn, Lance Lim) and PGA TOUR and LPGA players (Peter Malnati, Sydnee Michaels, Mackenzie Hughes, Demi Runas) will compete in the Mega Golf Challenge that was filmed at the Genesis Open, a series of slime-filled, golf-themed interstitials hosted by School of Rock’s Tony Cavalero and Ricardo Hurtado, airing 11 a.m.–1 p.m.(ET/PT) on Nicktoons.”
