It was a day full of major girl power as the lovely ladies: Zoe Manarel, Alison Fernandez and Lauren Donzis celebrated the release of their Amazon original special, An American Girl Story: Summer Camp, Friends for Life on June 6, 2017 at the Discovery Cube LA in Sylmar, California. The spectacular special dives into the world of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) when friends Z, played by Zoe Manarel, and Paz, played by Alison Fernandez, kick off their summer at S.T.E.A.M. camp. Their exciting time gets slightly dampened when the administrator bands their devices (Oh, no!). It isn’t until Z and Paz meet a “counselor” named Jordan who opens up a new world for the two best-friends as they set out on a fun adventure and meet a new friend, Drew, played by Lauren Donzis.
This fantastic special is something that everyone of all ages can enjoy watching. It celebrates S.T.E.A.M. and opens up an endless amount of opportunities for people to pursue what they’re passionate about and follow after their dreams. An American Girl Story: Summer Camp, Friends for Life brings out a lot of magnificent messages to viewers regarding friendship, teamwork, knowledge and opening the doors to more recognition and appreciation towards S.T.E.A.M. Fans who enjoy the marvelous special will be able to bring Z to life with the American Girl’s 18-inch doll inspired off of Z herself. The doll is now available for everyone to purchase.
Zoe Manarel, Alison Fernandez and Lauren Donzis all had a fabulous time at the screening of their incredible special. Amazon’s Just Add Magic stars: Olivia Sanabia, Aubrey K Miller, and Abby Donnelly joined in on the fun and also attended the event. Attendees at the remarkable event were able to watch the screening of the sensational special and enjoy some terrific, S.T.E.A.M. activities. To top off the super sweet day, attendees were also able to enjoy a scrumptious cake from Coldstone Creamery. The event was truly phenomenal and such a brilliant way to celebrate a fabulous and magical special.
