Beauty and fashion definitely makes the world go ’round, so needless to say, everyone who attended the SIMPLY LA conference on July 15, 2017 at The Grove in Los Angeles, California were left on Cloud 9 with all of the amazing beauty products, fashion brands, and all-around excitement that was at the event. The outstanding and fun-filled event featured interesting panels and incredible opportunities for attendees to get their shop on with exceptional and renowned brands such as ShoeDazzle, JustFab, Wen by Chaz Dean and many more. It was an exciting Saturday for all beauty and fashion enthusiasts who had an unforgettable, full day event at the rooftop of The Grove celebrating the wonderful world of beauty and fashion.
The remarkable event kicked off the night before with a special dinner held at the IVORY on Sunset, hosted by Simply founder, Sarah Boyd and Wen by Chaz Dean. Many celebrities were in attendance at the fantastic dinner including Brandi Cyrus, Becca Tilley, Michael Costello, Marta Pozzan, and many more.
The following day, on July 15th, everyone got up bright and early to start off their morning in a marvelous way at the beauty and fashion conference. The day was jam-packed with a lot of phenomenal activities. There were many informative panels at the event that gave everyone an inside look into the fast-paced, ever-growing, beauty and fashion industry and ways to continue to advance their entrepreneurial ventures. Some of the many fascinating panels and breakout sessions included “Staying on Trend With Makeup,” “Creating Your Voice and Making an Impact,” “Monetize Your Influence” and many others. Each of the breakout sessions and panels brought out some excellent advice that definitely made a lasting impact on guests who will be incorporating what they have learned at the conference in their everyday lives.
Keynote speaker and Twilight star, Ashley Greene was in attendance at the event and inspired everyone at her brilliant panel. Other celebrities in attendance at the event included Prey Swim designer, Audrina Patridge, as well as Nastia Liukin, Vanessa Simmons, Monique Coleman, Brandi Cyrus, Christi and Chloe Lukasiak, and many more fantastic celebrities and fashion and beauty bloggers.
In addition to all of the spectacular panels and breakout sessions, attendees were able to buy some awesome products at the many pop-up shops, enjoy getting a magnificent manicure from Nail Garden, get their hair braided and even rock a super cute, flower crown created right at the Wen by Chaz Dean booth. All attendees were looking so gorgeous wearing their beautiful flower crowns made out of stunning, real flowers. New Beauty was also at the event with tons of exceptional, beauty product must-haves.
A long and brilliant day full of shopping and trying out new beauty products will definitely cause a person to get hungry. SIMPLY LA guests were able to get their fuel with yummy treats from Thoughtfully Co., Electric Sky Wine, Lemonade, Smashmallow, ZUPA NOMA, and many more. Everyone was also able to keep cool in the summer heat with some delicious, ice-cream sandwiches from Coolhaus.
SIMPLY LA, powered by NYLON, was definitely a sensational and extraordinary event. Everyone who attended was able to leave with a big smile on their face, more knowledge about the fashion and beauty world we live in, and of course, a bunch of fabulous swag!
