We all love a good game of musical chairs, and now, Nickelodeon is bringing musical chairs to another level with its brand new, digital short-form series, Drop That Seat, which is set to debut on January 1, 2019 at 10:00 AM ET. Talk about an amazing way to kick off the New Year! Drop That Seat, which is created and executive produced by Nick Cannon, will give real kids the chance to show off their best dance moves as they try to become the next musical chairs champ. The live-action game show is hosted by Knight Squad‘s Daniella Perkins and So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation star Kida The Great.
According to the press release, “Drop That Seat is a competition series inspired by iconic dance moves and filled with unique twists, turns and challenges, as kid contestants dance and race to a chair once the music stops. The winning team will receive cash and music-themed prizes.”
