Summer is soon approaching and if you’re ready to spend a day at Malibu Beach, you might just see Tyler, Gina and their fellow aspiring lifeguards ready to save the day! Netflix is bringing extra excitement this summertime with a brand new movie and series that everyone is going to love – we’re talking about Malibu Rescue. In this phenomenal movie, we get to join Tyler, Gina and their junior lifeguard friends as they fight to claim the ultimate tower at Malibu Beach. After the movie premiere on May 13th, viewers get to continue on the journey with Malibu Beach: The Series, which is set to launch on Netflix on June 3rd.
Let’s learn more about the film here: “In the upcoming movie Malibu Rescue, Ricardo Hurtado (School of Rock) will star as Tyler, a handsome know-it-all with a fierce competitive streak and Breanna Yde (School of Rock, The Haunted Hathaways) will star as Gina, a tough and self-assured athlete. The live-action comedy follows a ragtag group of aspiring junior lifeguards from The Valley as they compete against the snobby local kids for bragging rights and the ultimate tower at Malibu beach. Breanna Yde was ecstatic to finally share the news with all of her fans. Along with a post she shared on Instagram, Yde wrote, “we’ve been so eager to finally tell u all about this project and now we finally can. last year i had the opportunity to work on this amazing movie/show with an incredibly hardworking team and my amazing cast mates. Malibu Rescue was an experience i’ll never forget and i cant wait for u all to finally see it :) movie comes out may 13.”
