You know what they say, “No home is complete without the pitter patter of kitty feet.” CatCon, the biggest convention all about… you guessed it… cats – is the purr-fect place for all cat lovers. Each year, CatCon brings all of the excitement – from meet-and-greets with celebri-cats to tons of amazing booths to visit at the exhibit hall and even an adoption center where you can adopt a furry friend of your own!

CatCon made its way back over to the Pasadena Convention Center on June 29 – 30, 2019 for the fifth annual event. As soon as attendees entered in the convention center, they instantly noticed the unique, cat-tastic atmosphere that couldn’t be beat. Attendees were dressed up in their greatest cosplay including cat-ears, cat costumes and for the makeup lovers – cat-eyeliner! There were a countless amount of things to do at CatCon, so here’s a recap of all of the amazing things that went down at this year’s cat-centric event!

1. All of the Cat Swag at the Exhibit Hall

One of the top things on attendees’ “To Do” list at CatCon was to visit the exhibit hall. There was an endless amount of excellent booths again this year with some of the newest, most innovative products for cats. Ranging from cat accessories to cat food, art, toys, litter items and beyond – the exhibit hall was the best place to get all of your cat needs. Plus, attendees were able to get tons of free cat swag at many of the booths – how awesome is that?!

2. Meet-And-Greets With Celebri-Cats

A big reason why many people go to CatCon is to meet, pet and snap some cute pictures with their favorite celebri-cats. This year, celebri-cats including Suki Cat, The Dark Lord, BenBen, Klaus and Juno, Hiro, Pudge, Waverly McTinybeans and Goal Kitty were at CatCon. These cats truly know how to brighten up their followers’ day. With hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, it’s clear to see why these lovable, feline friends have gone viral! There’s no doubt about it, CatCon attendees definitely captured some unforgettable moments during the celebri-cats’ meet-and-greets. In addition, 50% of the proceeds from meet-and-greet ticket sales went to charity.

Guests were able to enter in a cat lover’s retro dream home, get an Insta-worthy picture inside the infinity room filled with treats and more! The Office‘s Angela Kinsey had a blast at this year’s CatCon and took tons of magnificent pictures showing her fun time at Purradise City.

One of CatCon’s biggest missions is to encourage everyone to adopt, don’t shop!
