Looking for a new show to binge-watch? Well, look no further as Netflix’s new, young adult series, Outer Banks is launching on April 15th. Netflix just released the official trailer for the show and it looks SO. GOOD. We could already tell that Outer Banks will be our new obsession.
Viewers head to “Paradise on Earth” aka the Outer Banks in North Carolina as four friends find themselves in a treasure hunt for a whopping $400 million in gold.
According to the press release, “Outer Banks is a coming of age story that follows a tight-knit group of local teens (the “Pogues”) in the beach vacation destination of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. When a hurricane kills the power for the summer season, it sets off a chain of illicit events that force the friends to make life-altering decisions. The search for their ringleader’s missing father, forbidden romances, a high-stakes treasure hunt, and the escalating conflict between the Pogues and their rivals turn their summer into one filled with mystery and adventure they’ll never forget.”
Filled with suspense, mystery, romance and a sensational cast, Outer Banks is destined to be a massive hit. Outer Banks stars Chase Stokes as John B., Rudy Pankow as J.J., Jonathan Daviss as Pope, Madison Bailey as Kiara, Madelyn Cline as Sarah Cameron, Charles Esten as Ward Cameron, Austin North as Topper, Julia Antonelli as Wheezie Cameron and Drew Starkey as Rafe Cameron.

Chase Stokes: Starring as John B. in Outer Banks, Chase Stokes is also a familiar face in a countless amount of other hit projects. We’ve seen the talented actor in highly-acclaimed shows including Stranger Things, Daytime Divas, and Tell Me Your Secrets, amongst many others. We’re super thrilled to see the terrific Chase Stokes’ work in this awesome, Netflix series.
Rudy Pankow: Pankow, who plays the role of J.J., grew up in a small town in Alaska. A fun fact about him according to his IMDB page is that he is even a certified Kayak Guide. Pankow has exhibited his magnificent talent in other projects including the TV series Solve and the drama short, Deviant.
Jonathan Daviss: When Jonathan Daviss isn’t acting, he’s showcasing his outstanding, musical talent! Daviss shares many videos on his Instagram account of him playing the guitar and he is super talented. He also enjoys spending time with his family and posts a ton of awesome photos on his social media accounts with his siblings.
Madison Bailey: The fabulous Madison Bailey starred in the renowned CW Network series, Black Lightening. Also, you NEED to see Madison Bailey’s ukulele covers she has posted on her Instagram account. One word: AMAZING!
Madelyn Cline: Madelyn Cline always does a great job in every project that she works on. The lovely actress has exhibited her wonderful, acting skills in the movie, Boy Erased, as well as fan-favorite shows including Stranger Things, Vice Principals, and more.
Charles Esten: If you’re a big fan of The Office (I mean, who isn’t?!) then, you’ll be super excited to see Charles Esten (who starred as Josh Porter in The Office) in this new Netflix series. The prolific actor has starred in an endless amount of remarkable projects including Nashville, Enlightened, Jessie, and many, many more. Esten is also a brilliant musician.
Austin North: This phenomenal actor first stole the hearts of fans with all of his roles in shows on the Disney Channel. He starred as Logan Watson in the Disney Channel series, I Didn’t Do It, as well as Ricky Weaver in Disney XD’s Kickin’ It. Austin North is also an incredibly skillful drummer who will blow you away with his talent.
Drew Starkey: This excellent actor has an impressive resume of projects he has been a part of. Starkey worked on the highly-acclaimed film, Love, Simon, and also starred in Scream: The TV Series, Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings, and more.
Julia Antonelli: 16-year-old Antonelli truly is a gifted actress! We loved watching her in Nickelodeon’s Every Witch Way, and Every Witch Way‘s spinoff series, WITS Academy. She also starred in soccer superstar Alex Morgan’s film, Alex & Me.
