
It’s touchdown time! Huddle up with your family as it’s time to kickoff the NFL Wild Card Game on Nickelodeon! What better way to ring in 2021 than with your favorite football teams, all-star players, Nickelodeon stars Gabrielle Nevaeh Green and Lex Lumpkin and an epic halftime presentation?! It’s all happening at the NFL Wild Card Game on Nickelodeon airing on Sunday, January 10th at 4:30 pm ET. Of course, a proper Nickelodeon celebration isn’t complete without some slime – so be prepared to watch a football game like no other that’s even more slime-tastic than you can expect!
CBS Sports and Nickelodeon have teamed up for a special telecast, promoting a wonderful co-viewing experience between kids and their families. “The NFL Wild Card Game on Nickelodeon will feature one-of-a-kind kid-focused content and Nick-themed elements throughout, including a special halftime presentation, guest reporters and original on-field graphics, virtual filters and more” (source: press release) and will air alongside CBS Sports’ broadcast of the game on The CBS Television Network.
Fans will get to look forward to seeing Nickelodeon’s All That and Unfiltered stars Lex Lumpkin and Gabrielle Nevaeh Green during the magnificent and adrenaline-filled telecast with Lumpkin serving as a reporter during the game and Green calling the game alongside play-by-play announcer Noah Eagle and CBS Sports analyst Nate Burleson. Green and Lumpkin always bring so much joy and excitement to our TV screens and we all can’t wait to see them get their head in the game and bring some sports-filled fun on January 10th!
Viewers will even get to take a trip to Kamp Koral with a special halftime sneak peek of the much-anticipated, animated series, Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years. The outstanding, prequel spinoff series follows a “10-year-old SpongeBob SquarePants and his pals as they spend their summer building underwater campfires, catching wild jellyfish, and swimming in Lake Yuckymuck at the craziest camp in the kelp forest, Kamp Koral” (source: press release). Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years is set to debut on the streaming service Paramount+ and Nickelodeon later this year. The worlds of Kamp Koral and the NFL are joining together in an unforgettable way and you truly won’t want to miss it at the NFL Wild Card Game on Nickelodeon!
