Alexisjoyvipaccess: First off, I want to send you the biggest congratulations on all of the amazing success with your career. Can you tell us what inspired you to focus your life around acting?

Bria Danielle Singleton: Thank you so much! The support from Thunder Force is making me so happy. I really appreciate it. Also, I am surrounded by some form of acting almost 24/7. I act in school and professionally because it’s something I plan on doing for the rest of my life. Acting is something I really love!

Alexisjoyvipaccess: You star in Netflix’s sensational film, Thunder Force out now on the streaming platform. What was it like working on set of this magnificent film?

Bria Danielle Singleton: Exactly what you said – it is a magnificent film. The entire cast and crew were so nice and made me feel a lot less anxious than I was when I first arrived on set. The energy surrounding them was so great and comforting – I couldn’t have asked for a better team.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: Is there a moment that sticks out to you the most from working on Thunder Force?

Bria Danielle Singleton: Honestly, the first thing that pops into my mind was when a crew member was stung in the face by a wasp while I was shooting a scene, then I almost got stung too. It was a little scary, but I got through the day with no accidents.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: The stellar film follows two estranged best-friends who reunite after one devises a treatment that gives them powers to protect the city. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and what would you want your superhero name to be?

Bria Danielle Singleton: If I could have any superpower, it would be teleportation, and my name would be Vanish. That sounds dramatic to me. lol

Alexisjoyvipaccess: Thunder Force shares a great message about the power of friendship. What is the biggest takeaway you’d like viewers to get from the film?

Bria Danielle Singleton: I would want the viewers to know that being smart is okay. Don’t let anyone make you feel like you are weird, a nerd or different. I would also want them to know that good friends are hard to find, and when you do, cherish those friendships and don’t allow small disagreements to come in between you.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: You also shared your talent in Nickelodeon’s The Loud House voicing the role of Camille. What was it like for you working on that fantastic project?

Bria Danielle Singleton: The Loud House is a hilarious show! I was so excited when I booked the role of Camille. Working on voice-over is always so fun. My “little brother” was so sweet and funny. It was great working with him and the crew.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: What would be your dream role to portray?

Bria Danielle Singleton: My dream role would be a strong lead character. A lot of the times, other girls that look like me (dark-skinned) are booked as the butt-of-a-joke and not taken seriously. They are usually the “best friend,” “the loud mouth” or the “bully.” Thunder Force is amazing because it proved that it’s possible for someone like me to be the smart girl and I love that.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: Lastly, if you could bring out one message to all of your fans, what message would that be?

Bria Danielle Singleton: The one message I would tell my fans is – don’t settle. If you live your life not speaking up, just taking what you’re handed and not fighting for more, you’re not going to live your life fully. Live your life purposefully.
