Nickelodeon’s The Loud House has made such an iconic impact ever since it debuted on our screens in May 2016. The hit series brings viewers inside the Loud family household and we’re able to relish in all of the love, and even more so, all of the hijinks that Lincoln Loud experiences with his full house filled with 10 sisters. The great legacy of this fun-filled show has spawned into a comic book series, chapter books, a digital album, and even a fan-favorite podcast titled, Listen Out Loud. The show has also won two Emmy Awards. The Loud House has made history as a family-oriented, light-hearted series that will forever be a special part of everyone’s life. Now, The Loud House world is expanding… this time IRL with the live-action film, A Loud House Christmas.
In the very merry film, Lincoln Loud is dreaming of the perfect Christmas getting to celebrate it with all of his sisters. But, it looks like Lincoln might need a Christmas miracle for that to happen as he finds out that most of his sisters have different plans for the holidays. With his best-friend Clyde by his side, Lincoln launches mission: save Christmas and does everything he can to keep his family’s holiday traditions alive and have the most unforgettable, festive celebration yet.
There couldn’t have been more of a perfect, dream team of a cast than this one to have brought the magic of the Loud family to life for the first time ever. A Loud House Christmas stars Wolfgang Schaeffer (Lincoln Loud), Jahzir Bruno (Clyde McBride), Brian Stepanek (Lynn Loud Sr.), Muretta Moss (Rita Loud), Lexi DiBenedetto (Lori Loud), Dora Dolphin (Leni Loud), Sophia Woodward (Luna Loud), Catherine Ashmore Bradley (Luan Loud), Morgan McGill (Lynn Loud), Aubin Bradley (Lucy Loud), Ella Allan (Lola Loud), Mia Allan (Lana Loud), Lexi Janicek (Lisa Loud) and Charlotte Ann Tucker (Lily Loud).
The way that this brilliant cast truly captured the essence of these beloved characters is something to marvel over. Each of the cast-members look like the real-life counterpart to their animated character. The hair and makeup done for the cast-members allowed them to fully embody their Loud family equivalent. From every unique quality that makes their character special – whether it’s Luan’s prankster ways or Luna’s rockstar stage presence, it’s clear to see that the entire cast gave this movie their all (and did a stupendous job in doing so!) as they had some big shoes to fill taking on such treasured characters.
Every part of this movie is sheer perfection – from the incredibly talented cast, to the heartwarming storyline, and even down to the set design. All of the characters’ rooms look exactly like what we see in the animated series. So much effort went in to making this movie as spectacular as it is; and all of the details that went into every prop and every costume is something to admire. It’s time to get loud because A Loud House Christmas is the best gift we could ask for this holiday season!
