When you wish upon a star… you might just have your very own virtual hype avatar come to life! Nickelodeon‘s spectacular series, That Girl Lay Lay is three words: a smash hit. The marvelous series premiered its first season with record-breaking numbers. That Girl Lay Lay delivered double digit gains on Thursday nights and claimed the #1 spot in the time slot across all TV among K6-11. There’s no surprise there though. This show is truly magical and follows Sadie, who wishes that the avatar from her personal affirmation app comes to life. When her wish comes true, Sadie and Lay Lay must navigate life as teenagers as they embrace their newfound friendship. The cast, comprising of Alaya “That Girl Lay Lay” High, Gabrielle Nevaeh Green, Peyton Perrine III, Caleb Brown, Tiffany Daniels, and Thomas Hobson all bring so much life and vigor to this wonderful show.
The early months of 2022 brought some incredible news for That Girl Lay Lay. The show was picked up for a second season, which means we’re all in for more super funny moments, magnificent surprises, and lots more catchy songs to jam out to. The exceptional series was also nominated at this year’s Kids Choice Awards for “Favorite Kids TV Show.” That Girl Lay Lay is a show that we all are completely captivated by and we are so thrilled to see a whole lot more episodes of this awe-inspiring show.
