She won a SAG award for her work in Orange is the New Black and was also nominated for an Emmy after taking on the role of Samantha Newman in Funny or Die’s The Earliest Show. Needless to say, whatever project she’s in, the phenomenal Lapkus always brings so much joy to our screens.
Now, fans can see the marvelous Lauren Lapkus in the spook-tacular Netflix film, The Curse of Bridge Hollow, where she plays Halloween-loving Mayor Tammy. Whether it’s rocking a pumpkin attire or riding around town in her Halloween-mobile, Mayor Tammy is a standout character in the movie and there couldn’t have been a more perfect person to bring this fun-loving character to life than the wondrous Lapkus.
