Any and every project that the incredibly talented Dexter Darden is in is a true slam dunk! The charming and charismatic Darden is making massive waves in the entertainment industry. He stars in the recently released Disney+ film, Chang Can Dunk. Receiving the highest of praises from critics and fans alike, Chang Can Dunk is a heartfelt and inspiring story that celebrates diversity and representation, going after your dreams, and believing in yourself. Darden stars as Deandre in the movie, Chang’s basketball coach and number one motivator. Acting comes so naturally for the exceptional Dexter Darden and he always wows viewers with everything that he works on.
Darden is a familiar face in many other fan-favorite projects including The Maze Runner movie franchise, the Saved by the Bell reboot series, The Binge and its sequel, It’s a Wonderful Binge, Victorious, and many more. It’s always clear to see that the phenomenal Dexter Darden puts his all into everything that he works on and all of his hard work pays off in creating something truly special.
What’s up next for the brilliant Darden? Well, he just so happens to star in the highly-anticipated sequel to the classic movie, Half Baked. Darden follows in the iconic Dave Chappelle’s footsteps by starring as Thurgood Jenkins’ son, JR in the film. According to Deadline, “Half Baked 2 follows Thurgood Jenkins’ son JR (Darden) and his best friends Miles (Moses Storm) and Cori (Ramona Young) as they search for the money to bury their other best friend Bruce (Joel Courtney), who died from smoking the most powerful joint in the world.” Needless to say, we’re super thrilled to see Darden take on this role and we know he will continue on the great legacy that Half Baked has made in pop culture.
You can never spot the terrific Dexter Darden without a smile on his face. He is incredibly hard-working and deserves all of his wondrous successes.
