From awesome hoodies, to joggers, and more, Dont Eat The Homies (also known as DETH) is more than just a terrific, clothing company, it’s an entire movement. DETH strives to make this a more peaceful planet to live in and it raises awareness towards animal rights. In fact, when you buy from the brand’s vast array of loud statement pieces, you not only get to rock some impactful streetwear, but you even get to contribute towards a life-changing mission as 10% of all sales are donated to animal sanctuaries.

Dont Eat The Homies celebrated its first-ever brick-and-mortar location with a special grand opening event held on March 30 in Woodland Hills, California. The spectacular event was a great success and had an abundance of guests who made their way over to the store to help support an exceptional cause. Attendees got to enjoy great music, scrumptious plant-based bites from Leaf Over Beef, drinks from Anna’s Cider,  Jungle Tea, and Liquid Death, and fully indulge in some sweet-tooth goodness with cookies from Maya’s Cookies. The store was filled with smiling faces as guests also got surprised with a brilliant, flash-mob performance. DETH founder, Jordyn Weekly, Madi Weekly, Jager Bonham, Toby Morse, Max Morse, DETH Creative Director, Julienne Green, and more attended the grand opening.

DETH is making a tremendous difference in this world. Created by Jordyn Weekly, Dont Eat The Homies has a fantastic story behind it… and was actually even created by accident! One night after watching a vegan documentary, Weekly was inspired to make a change. She came up with the phrase, “Dont Eat The Homies,” which eventually became the name of her successful company. She used a “print on demand” site to make her very first hoodie featuring the phrase and images of a cow, chicken, fish, pig, and horse. And, that’s how it all started!

Weekly began wearing her hoodie everywhere – around the streets of LA, in grocery stores, and everywhere in between – and people were constantly asking her about the mission and how they could get involved. It wasn’t long until Dont Eat The Homies’ influence was spread and felt far and wide across Los Angeles (and beyond!). Now, the brand is supported by thousands of people and has even gained recognition from celebs including Alicia Silverstone and Claudia Sulewski. DETH is also an official collaborator of PETA.

The outstanding streetwear brand has many pieces we all can’t wait to get our hands on. Here are some of our fave items:
