From starring in a countless amount of hit projects, to directing her first movie in 2023, and launching her own tequila brand, is there anything that the multi-faceted Eva Longoria can’t do?! The stupendous Longoria takes on many hats—actor, director, producer and entrepreneur—and with everything that she does, she makes sure that representation and women empowerment is at the forefront. For instance, her impeccable and unrivaled work directing Flamin’ Hot helped bring an inspiring story of the Latino community to our screens.
Flamin’ Hot has received an abundance of praises from critics and fans alike, and rightfully so. The brilliant film tells the true story of Richard Montañez, a Frito Lay janitor who helped disrupt the food industry by bringing to life the idea of the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. With Longoria’s strong spirit, determination and passion, coupled with the cast and crew’s magnificent work in this film, Flamin’ Hot is one that will touch the lives of everyone and deserves every award to name. The movie has already made such a great difference and was even screened at the White House back in June.
To add onto her many successful accomplishments and endeavors, Longoria is also a co-owner of not just one, but two soccer clubs: Angel City FC and Club Necaxa. “Every time I’ve been inserted into any business, it’s because I want to see a change in that business,” said Longoria. “I want to help women’s soccer, that’s why we invested in Angel City…so for me, there has to be purpose with my entrepreneurship.”
Longoria embodies what it’s like to be a powerful, admirable woman. She makes everyone proud—from her family to her fans, the Latino community and beyond. Her son is blessed to be raised by a phenomenal woman. As the lyrics go in the song, “The Fire Inside” from the Flamin’ Hot movie, “when you got the fire inside, you’re gonna own this life,” and Longoria truly exemplifies that.
