Renowned cosmetics company Shiseido is known for revolutionizing the beauty industry and constantly pushing boundaries. The brilliant, beauty brand did exactly that during Miami Art Week as it celebrated its debut into web3 at its Shiseido Future Solution LX VIP Cocktail Reception on Dec. 6. Miami is a city that always does it big, and Shiseido helped it continue to live up to its reputation with a luxurious event onboard a yacht at the Yacht Haven Grande Miami at Island Gardens. Beauty and art came together in a truly innovative way at this glamorous reception.
Not only does Shiseido bring out the most groundbreaking products, but it also has entered into a world that almost no other cosmetics company has ventured into before, web3. During Miami Art Week, Shiseido unveiled its Future Reflections: A Digital Art Collection, which is inspired by the Shiseido Future Solution LX skincare collection and the new Legendary Enmei Ultimate Brilliance Eye Cream.
VIPs at the event included board certified dermatologist and viral TikTok sensation, Dr. Muneeb Shah (also known as DermDoctor), DJ and content creator Xandra and entrepreneur and social media personality, Yesjulz. Guests at the event were able to try out Shiseido’s invigorating, new eye cream while enjoying a beautiful Miami day on a private yacht.
Bringing together the next iteration of the internet along with the art and science of beauty, Shiseido worked with talented artists including Hannah Yan, Jen Stark, Kaoru Tanaka and Robert Hodgin for its generative art collection. According to the press release, the collection “draws inspiration from key ingredients in the Future Solution LX collection: the Legendary Enmei herb, the precious Akoya pearl shell extract and green treasured silk. It highlights Shiseido’s fundamentals of refinement and modernity, and its commitment to innovation in the beauty industry.”
Powered by Art Blocks Engine, the collection contains 1,872 generative artworks, representing the year Shiseido was founded.
