From yearning for the one that got away to becoming the bride-to-be, all it took was one wish to make Maddie’s dream come true. In Netflix’s highly-anticipated rom-com, Irish Wish, Maddie, played by Lindsay Lohan, makes her way to idyllic Ireland for a wedding. When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid during their big day. But, things soon change when Maddie wishes that she could be the one wearing the wedding veil instead. She then finds herself in a romantic whirlwind she never thought she’d be in.

The film stars Lohan, Ed Speleers, Alexander Vlahos, Elizabeth Tan, Jacinta Mulcahy, and Jane Seymour. After watching the trailer, you’ll also see a familiar face…none other than Ayesha Curry!

Curry shared her enthusiasm to Netflix’s TUDUM over being a part of the movie and said, “I wanted to be a part of this story because, for one, I love classic rom-coms and this is just the epitome of that. I’m excited to be a part of something I hope will become a classic staple in people’s households that they’ll watch more than once. I also got to do it with my friend, and who doesn’t want to work with their friend?”

In the trailer, we get to see Maddie’s love story unfold within the picturesque views of Ireland. The movie has a heartwarming plot, an all-star terrific cast, and a breathtakingly beautiful location that makes everything about it a true must-see.
