Allow us to welcome you to the Dead Boy Detective Agency. One show that has been getting all the buzz and has been at the top of everyone’s “must-watch” list is Netflix’s Dead Boy Detectives. The hit series follows two teenage ghosts who team up with a clairvoyant to solve mysteries for their supernatural clientele. Dead Boy Detectives is based on Neil Gaiman’s comics and has brought a whole lot of paranormal adventures to our screens.
Yuyu Kitamura’s brilliant performance truly stands out in the series as she took on the fun-loving role of Niko Sasaki. Kitamura portrayed the role perfectly, with many fans of the series claiming her as their favorite character from the show. Niko is a vibrant, optimistic character with a big heart and Yuyu Kitamura stole the show in every scene she was in.
Needless to say, the marvelous Kitamura is a shining star in the entertainment industry. Aside from working on Dead Boy Detectives, she starred in an episode of Prime Video’s Expats, starring Nicole Kidman, and has shared her talent in many shorts. Kitamura has established herself as one multi-talented, young lady as she is not only a terrific actor, but she has also taken on many other hats in the film industry as well. Kitamura actually worked on her very own short film titled, Invited In, which she wrote, directed, and starred in. The film has made its way across the film festival circuit including at the New York Asian Film Festival, the Regent Park Film Festival, and the New York Lift Off Film Festival. It’s clear to see that whatever project she takes on, the phenomenal Yuyu Kitamura always puts her heart, soul, passion, and great creativity into it.
With her wondrous work in Dead Boy Detectives, there is no doubt that we will be seeing a whole lot more of Yuyu Kitamura on both the big and small screens. Kitamura is so radiant and is a true ray of sunshine, just like her character in the show.
