What began as a “personal travel bucket list” for the founders soon became a movement, with Accidentally Wes Anderson garnering two million followers on Instagram. A countless amount of community members have joined in and shared images they’ve snapped on their iPhones, DSLRs, and disposable cameras of vibrant places all around the world that embody the Wes Anderson aesthetic.

Now, Accidentally Wes Anderson continues to bring all the fun and wanderlust worldwide with Accidentally Wes Anderson: The Exhibition. The exhibition is currently running at the Santa Monica Art Museum in Santa Monica, California (with other IRL experiences happening in London and Shenzhen), and it’s an exhibit you definitely don’t want to miss out on.

Accidentally Wes Anderson: The Exhibition brings together the worlds of travel, photography, community, and adventure, as it allows visitors to travel to some of the most breathtakingly beautiful and awe-inspiring locations across the globe, without even having to leave Santa Monica! The exhibit features eye-catching photos from 200 real life locations that look like they could’ve been a part of The Grand Budapest Hotel, Asteroid City, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and Anderson’s other masterpieces (or possibly Wes Anderson films from the future).

Whether you’re a Wes Anderson devotee and have seen every one of his films, or if you’re a newer fan just starting to step inside his world, Accidentally Wes Anderson: The Exhibition is an unforgettable experience you’ll absolutely adore. This exhibition is such a delight for everyone to visit—from travel enthusiasts, to photography lovers, and beyond.

I’ve covered many exhibitions in Los Angeles, and Accidentally Wes Anderson: The Exhibition has to be one of my favorites.
