“In the future, if by some miracle you ever find yourself in the position to fall in love again, fall in love with me.” – Atlas Corrigan in It Ends with Us
Our countdown is coming to a close as the highly-anticipated movie, It Ends with Us, releases in theaters on Aug. 9. The powerful film, based on the book of the same name written by Colleen Hoover, follows Lily Bloom (portrayed by profound actor Blake Lively), who makes her way over to Boston to pursue her lifelong dream of opening up her own floral shop. During a chance rooftop encounter, Lily meets neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (played by the immensely talented Justin Baldoni). The meeting blooms into an instant connection and a whirlwind of a romance. But as their relationship continues to progress, Lily notices traits of Ryle that reminds her of her parents’ relationship. At the same time, Lily’s first love, Atlas Corrigan, comes back into the picture, which causes Lily to make some tough choices.
Sony Pictures‘ It Ends with Us brings together the unrivaled talents of the aforementioned Lively and Baldoni (who also directs the film), along with Jenny Slate, Brandon Sklenar, Isabela Ferrer, Alex Neustaedter, and Hasan Minhaj to tell this moving story. This remarkable movie has all of the qualities to make it the masterpiece that it truly is—from an all-star, stupendous cast, to a touching storyline that is mixed with comedy, empowering moments, and strength. This film is one that you’ll want to watch over and over again.
I had a sensational time attending the special screening of It Ends with Us on July 18 at the AMC Century City at the Century City Mall in Los Angeles, California. This movie will bring tears to your eyes and will touch your heart in more ways than imaginable. It Ends with Us left me speechless and is certainly one of the best movies to have come out in 2024.
After the screening of the film, I had a brilliant time getting an exclusive first-look at Lily Bloom’s floral pop-up shop at the Century City Mall. It truly was an unparalleled experience and made me feel like I was right inside the movie. The pop-up had lovely floral bouquets, Atlas-inspired cookies, and tons of excellent photo-ops. Fans can visit Lily Bloom’s pop-up floral shop themselves at The Atrium in Century City Mall open during center hours on Thursdays – Sundays until Aug. 11. You don’t want to miss out on this breathtakingly beautiful pop-up, built with the help of the film’s set decorator, Carrie Stewart, who also designed the shop in the film.
