There are some shows and characters that become so iconic that they become a big part of TV history and pop culture. New Girl is one of those shows, and Winston Bishop is one of those characters. New Girl and its fan-favorite Winston, also famously known as Winnie the Bish, have spun up an entire culture, from popular catchphrases and unforgettable TV moments to frequently used memes. The series has also become a safe haven for many when they need their go-to comfort show.
Lamorne Morris: The Comedic Genius Behind Winston Bishop
A big part of bringing that magic to our screens is the impeccable talent of the one and only Lamorne Morris, who has brought the lovable, eccentric, and entertaining “Prank Sinatra” to life. From moments with his cat Ferguson to Winston doing some puzzlin’, the outstanding Morris has delivered countless classic moments throughout the highly acclaimed series through his unrivaled acting talent and comedic mastery.
From New Girl to the Big Screen: Morris’ Ever-Growing Career
Aside from his memorable work in New Girl, Morris has showcased his exceptional acting talent in other renowned projects, including Spider-Noir and Fargo. He continues to be booked and busy with much-anticipated projects, including Jumanji: Open World, which is set to be released on Dec. 25. He also voices everyone’s favorite orange cat, Garfield, in the new series ordered by Paramount+. Can’t get enough of Morris? (I don’t blame you!) Morris has also been working on The Mess Around podcast, a New Girl rewatch podcast he co-hosts with his New Girl castmate Hannah Simone.
Needless to say, Lamorne Morris’ work in New Girl and every project he’s a part of proves just how much of a treasure he is to the entertainment industry.
