It’s so phenomenal to see how this magnificent foundation, which has touched the lives of many, has combined a person’s passion – art: whether it be through film, poetry, dance, music, and beyond and has used the influence of art to help the individuals who have been or are affected by eating disorders. Eating disorders is something that, unfortunately, so many people suffer from, however, when we work together and show each other support, we can help put an end to the suffering from eating disorders.

When one of the most awe-inspiring foundations (Breaking The Chains) teams up with a marvelous magazine that everyone loves reading (Glitter Magazine) – what do you get? The event opened the eyes of many. Breaking The Chains founder, Debra Hopkins, and all behind the event including the members of the Breaking The Chains foundation and Glitter Magazine have done a spectacular job impacting the lives of many.

Debra Hopkins, founder of Breaking The Chains stated, “Breaking the Chains Foundation’s goal is to continue to work with artists and art based communities to encourage them and bring forth awareness about eating disorders. We stand as an artistic motivator to ignite a fire in a whole new light.  In order to change the face and conversation of eating disorders, we will inspire an entire new matrix.” (source: press release)
