Article: Bon Jovi Set To Perform And Be Honored At The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards Plus Camila Cabello And Chance The Rapper To Be Awarded At The Event!

The renowned and prestigious 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards is right around the corner and we could only imagine all of the epic and unforgettable moments that will take place at this historic award show. You’ve found out the nominees for this brilliant award show as well as the terrific performers who will be bringing magic onto the iHeartRadio Music Awards stage, and now, we have even more exciting news about this magnificent event! It has just been announced that the legendary, rock icons Bon Jovi will be honored with the iHeartRadio Icon Award at the event. The stupendous band will also be performing at the award show.

According to the press release, “Bon Jovi will receive the first-ever iHeartRadio Icon Award for their global impact on pop culture, longevity, and continued relevance as a touring and radio force with a loyal fan base worldwide. Bon Jovi has sold over 130 million albums and has performed to more than 34 million fans across 50 countries. The Grammy winning band will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2018.”

In addition, music sensations Camila Cabello and Chance The Rapper will also be honored at the event with the iHeartRadio Fangirls Award presented by L’Oréal Paris and the iHeartRadio Innovator Award, respectively.

This is the first year that iHeartRadio and L’Oréal Paris will be presenting the iHeartRadio Fangirls Award. Camila Cabello is well-deserving of this award as she has inspired her fans all over the world and proves herself to be one incredible role model who works hard and continues to impact the music world in more ways than imaginable.

“Camila embodies the L’Oréal Paris philosophy, “Because You’re Worth It” demonstrating ambition, passion and a strong sense of self-worth by breaking out on her own with her first solo album, “Camila.” Her No. 1 hit single, “Havana,” topped Billboard’s Pop Songs chart for seven weeks, marking the longest reign of a song by a solo female artist in nearly five years.” (source: press release)

The prolific and GRAMMY award-winning artist, Chance The Rapper will be honored with the iHeartRadio Innovator Award “for his groundbreaking accomplishments in the music industry and his unsurpassable contributions to social causes. As an independent artist, he has risen to the top of hip-hop superstardom and uses his voice to fight for youth empowerment through the arts, education and civic engagement with his non-profit organization, SocialWorks. The multi-faceted artist, activist, actor and entrepreneur is also nominated in the Best Remix category.  Past honorees of the iHeartRadio Innovator Award include Pharrell, Justin Timberlake, U2 and Bruno Mars.” (source: press release)

There’s only one stupendous award show that celebrates the magnificent world of online-video making and you guessed it, it’s the renowned and prestigious Streamy Awards! It’s the most wonderful time of the year as the Streamy Awards is making its way on over to us super soon. The Streamy Awards is the brilliant award show that honors all of our faves – from content creators, to awesome, digital series, beauty, fashion, lifestyle and beyond! The Streamy Awards will be making history yet again on September 26th at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

The incredible Streamy Awards announced all of the terrific nominees at this year’s award show via the Streamy Awards Twitter account. The iconic Casey Neistat and the hit go90 series, Mr. Student Body President lead with six nominations each. Other nominees include Cameron Dallas, David Dobrik, Dolan Twins, Lilly Singh, Logan Paul, and many other fan-favorite creators.

Election day is right around the corner and the power is in your hands to decide who will be our country’s 45th president. Nickelodeon is letting you have your voice be heard and is letting you decide who you want as President of the United States through their Kids Pick the President “Kids’ Vote” that is open now up until Saturday, November 5th. This is your chance to vote for who you want to see become President and the winner will be announced on Saturday, November 5th at 9:35 PM during a night filled with fantastic, election-themed episodes of some of Nickelodeon’s hit live-action shows.

According to the press release, “Nickelodeon’s “election”-themed programming—featuring storylines ranging from a race for class president to a vote for a favorite snack—will include brand-new episodes of Henry Danger at 8 p.m.Game Shakers at 8:30 p.m.School of Rock at 9 p.m. and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn at 9:30 p.m. The night’s lineup will be hosted by Riele Downs (Henry Danger), Benjamin Flores Jr. (Game Shakers), Ricardo Hurtado (School of Rock) and Lizzy Greene (Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn), who will be on hand encouraging kids to get involved and cast their votes. At approximately 9:35 p.m., the Nick stars will reveal who kids nationwide have selected as their choice for the next President of the United States. Voting results will air across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons and NickMusic.”

Election Day is soon approaching us and did you know that millennials can make one of the biggest impacts ever in this election? Now more than ever is your chance to get your voice heard and take a stance on the future of the country. That’s why MTV is bringing back its renowned “TRL” for one day only as “Total Registration Live” on Tuesday, September 27th at 6:00 PM ET / PT on MTV, MTV.com, the MTV App, the MTV Facebook and YouTube pages and ElectThis.com. “Total Registration Live” will encourage everyone, especially millennials, to register to vote and be a part of this year’s election.

Many musicians and fan-favorite celebrities will be showing their support and motivating everyone to get up and vote. According to the press release, “The special will include Grammy-nominated R&B superstar and Respect My Vote! Ambassador, Ty Dolla $ign performing “Campaign,” “No Justice” and “Zaddy” from his brand new project “CAMPAIGN,” appearances by model and Rock The Vote spokesperson Kendall Jenner, Director, Producer and Writer Joss Whedon, Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello, rapper Vic Mensa, actress Natalia Dyer, actor and singer Mack Wilds and more, along with MTV’s Nessa who will host. Also on-hand will be MTV News’ Senior Political Correspondent Ana Marie Cox and Senior National Correspondent Jamil Smith.”

Now, registering to vote is as easy as 1..2..3! MTV is partnering with HelloVote which will allow you to register to vote just by sending a text or using Facebook Messenger. How amazing is that?! The press release also stated, “Guests will speak out on the issues at the center of the 2016 election and empower viewers to register to votevia MTV’s long-standing partner Rock The Vote at ElectThis.com, or by texting VOTEMTV to 384387 via a partnership with HelloVote, the first chatbot that allows voters to register over text message or Facebook Messenger in under a minute. In place of the classic “TRL” Top Ten Music Video Countdown, powerful profiles will spotlight what is at stake in the upcoming election through the eyes of three Millennials taking individual action to change their communities…”

MTV’s “Elect This” and Viacom NEXT is also debuting an “Open Your Hearts” virtual art reality show at Hofstra University, where the first presidential debate will take place. The “Open Your Hearts” virtual reality art show will give a 3D look into important issues that this world faces today.

From an epic performance from Justin Bieber, to Zayn Malik’s first ever performance as a solo artist, to Taylor Swift winning the “Best Album of the Year” award and Jason Derulo being one incredible host, it all happened at the one and only 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards! The renowned and prestigious 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards was the biggest trending topic as the remarkable award show made its way to The Forum in Inglewood, California on April 3, 2016. The night was filled with some of the most unforgettable moments including Demi Lovato’s awe-inspiring performance, DNCE’s rockin’ performance of their chart-topping song “Cake By The Ocean,” and U2 winning the “Innovator Award,” amongst many other highlights.
