Nick Jonas, 5 Seconds of Summer, Iggy Azalea, and Jennifer Hudson – all of them are absolute singing sensations with indescribable talent, all of them who are household names and have millions and millions of fans all over the world, and all of them will be performing at the renowned and prestigious 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards! With twenty-one categories where fans can vote for their favorites to win a coveted Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards blimp and with some additions of new categories – the stupendous Nickelodeon has already surpassed everyone’s expectations with how phenomenal the award show will be this year. Now, with even more excitement, Nickelodeon has announced that Nick Jonas, 5 Seconds of Summer, Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson will be taking on the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards stage on March 28, 2015 at The “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, California.

In addition to hosting the fantastic award show, phenomenon Nick Jonas will also be opening up the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards by singing his hit songs “Jealous” and “Chains”. Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson are set to perform Iggy Azalea’s new song, “Trouble” while sensations: 5 Seconds of Summer will be singing their chart-topping song, “What I Like About You”. According to the press release, “We are so excited to be nominated and perform at the Kids’ Choice Awards! It’s our first time at the show and it’s going to be awesome!” said 5 Seconds of Summer”.

As stated by the press release, “Triple-KCA nominee Iggy Azalea is up for “Favorite New Artist,” while hit songs “Fancy” (featuring Charli XCX) and “Problem” (Ariana Grande featuring Iggy Azalea) are contenders for “Favorite Song of the Year.”  Iggy burst onto the charts with the smash, “Fancy,” making history on the Billboard Hot 100 as the longest-leading #1 by a female rapper after an astounding seven weeks at the top of the charts.  Iggy made chart history again as the first artist since The Beatles to rank at #1 and #2 simultaneously, and her debut album The New Classic peaked at #1 on the Billboard Rap Album charts–the first for an international female artist.  This year, Iggy was nominated for four Grammy awards including Best New Artist and Best Rap Album, and just recently dropped her new single, “Trouble” featuring Grammy and Academy Award-winner Jennifer Hudson, which is steadily climbing the charts. Hudson’s highly acclaimed album, “JHUD,” was released in Fall 2014 in the top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 and recently garnered Hudson her fifth Grammy nomination. Hudson has also been seen blowing up the dance charts with Gorgon City’s number one hit track, “Go All Night.” Hudson’s breakout film performance in “Dreamgirls” garnered her an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a BAFTA and an NAACP Image Award. Additional film credits include “Sex and the City,” “Secret Life of Bees,” “Winnie Mandela,” “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete,” and “Black Nativity.”

5 Seconds of Summer fans are beyond thrilled to hear the news that in addition to being nominated for “Favorite New Artist”, they also will be rocking out on the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards stage and giving everyone a performance that they will never forget. It has topped the iTunes charts in 76 countries and, in five short months, has sold more than three million units worldwide.”
