
It was the greatest day in award show history. It was the one, the only – Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards! Year after year, the extraordinary Nickelodeon brings together everyone’s favorite celebrities from singers to bands to actors and actresses and YouTube sensations; and of course, there is one thing that Nickelodeon never forgets to bring each year to the award show – the slime, slime and more slime! This year, for the first time ever, Nickelodeon simulcasted the renowned 28th Annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on all networks including Nickelodeon, TeenNick, NickToons, and TV Land and also streamed on Nick.com and the Nick App on March 28, 2015 at 8-9:30 PM.
Nickelodeon had a thrilling day for viewers as the highly-anticipated night started off with an episode of the hit TV series, The Thundermans at 7:00 PM and an exclusive sneak peek at the much-anticipated, animated TV series, Harvey Beaks at 9:30 PM.
According to the press release, “During the special hour-long episode of The Thundermans, Phoebe and Cherry’s friendship is put to the test when the Thunderman family gets some unexpected news and must prepare for the surprise. Meanwhile, Max goes with Dr. Colosso to accept a Villain of the Decade award. The one-hour hero-filled episode will feature drop-ins from the Kids’ Choice Awards Orange Carpet where The Thundermans’ Jack Griffo and Instant Mom’s Sydney Park will interview all the celebrities.”
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards brought consummate actors, actresses, musicians, singers and bands together under one roof and had a star-studded list of attendees including Nick Cannon, Liam Hemsworth, Jamie Foxx, Zendaya, Kevin James, Meghan Trainor, Echosmith, Debby Ryan, Quvenzhane Wallis, Fifth Harmony, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting who were among the many who wowed the crowd on the Kids’ Choice Awards stage. Profound musicians including Nick Jonas, 5 Seconds of Summer, Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson gave unforgettable performances at the event.
The press release also stated, “Immediately following at 9:30 p.m. (ET/PT), viewers can watch a first-look of Nickelodeon’s all-new animated series Harvey Beaks. Created and executive produced by C.H. Greenblatt (Chowder), this 26-episode series tells the story of the unlikely friendship between Harvey, a kid who’s never broken the rules, and Fee and Foo, his two friends who’ve never lived by any. Harvey Beaks will debut in its regular Sunday night timeslot beginning March 29 at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT) following a brand-new episode of SpongeBob SquarePants.”
