
Vroom, vroom! We all have always been left in awe with the fast-paced, adrenaline-filled world of NASCAR racing, and now, Nickelodeon and NASCAR are teaming up with each other yet again to allow fans to enter in the world of NASCAR even more and get a behind-the-scenes look at everything that goes on the NASCAR race track. Nickelodeon had some very exciting news as they announced that the fan-favorite show, NASCAR Hammer Down will be speeding its way over to our TV screens with a premiere on Friday, September 23rd at 9:30 PM ET / PT. How exciting!
The third season of NASCAR Hammer Down will comprise of eight, 15-minute episodes which will be hosted by Karsyn Elledge, granddaughter of Dale Earnhardt and daughter of Kelley Earnhardt Miller.
According to the press release, “This season, Elledge will be joined by her sister, Kennedy Elledge, for driver interviews, goofy antics and behind-the-scenes insight into the technology and people that propel more than 90 annual NASCAR national series events. Ryan Blaney, driver of the No. 21 Ford for Wood Brothers Racing, and Bubba Wallace Jr., driver of the No. 6 Ford for Roush Fenway Racing, also return as series regulars for the popular “Bubba & Blaney” segment.
Produced by NASCAR Productions, season three premieres with back-to-back episodes, the first of which emanates from the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The subsequent “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 Special” gives viewers an inside look at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 taking place on Sunday, Sept. 18 at Chicagoland Speedway. NASCAR Hammer Down will air regularly on Fridays at 9:30 p.m. (ET/PT) during Nicktoons’ NickSports TV block.”
Nickelodeon and NASCAR’s team-up is perfect as Nickelodeon always brings masterpieces to its viewers and this show continues to bring in new fans to the NASCAR fan-base. In fact, NASCAR has been having a lot of excitement for kids as NASCAR has been celebrating Kids Drive NASCAR, its week long initiative leading up to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Michigan International Speedway. A kids-only press conference was held with Karsyn Elledge present and more fun events and activities will continue to take place. In addition, NASCAR also launched its NASCAR Acceleration Nation app.
